It’s a good quality float switch doddle to fit! . I have a oceanis 373 clipper and the bilge pump was totally manual. So I wanted to fit a auto switch so it’s fully auto! now I can leave switch on even when I’m away from the yacht knowing any water will be pumped out I fibre glassed my one in rather than screws but what’s great for that is the float switch clips in and out of the base plate excellent design there . Good lead length. Mounted this in a pond pump filter box, along with a bilge pump.

Liked the price but the product isn’t good at all. The on/off is at the same water level for switching so if using next to the pump then your pump will be flicking on and off constantly

The switch was working well for 6 months or so, but then I was finding the battery in my boat was drained a couple of times. I linked the fault back to this switch and it appears that the switching point had changed and the pump was powered on at the minimum level - and worse still switch the pump off if the level gets too high!

Seems to be very good, early days ,but see no reason for it to fail.

To be fair I did not use this on a boat where it would be subject to vibration and tossing about.I used it to cut off a pump in a water feature in the event the level fell below the pump, I tested it thoroughly and got the adjustment correct with a fair margin for error.I noticed the flow had almost stopped and checked the switch it was sitting in mid air, a prod caused it to drop and shut off the pump. I refilled the feature and it failed to rise, it needed another prod to get it on again.As I say maybe with the motion of the boat it might release before the boat sunk, but beware if you use it for any other purpose.

Je l'ai acheté pour le camping-car, quand le réservoir se vide, il peut arriver que la pompe tourne en permanence pour essayer de mettre le circuit sous pression, ce qui peut l'endomager. Installé au fond de la cuve, l'interrupteur couple le circuit pour protéger la pompe :-)

Este nivel solo lo recomiendo para sentrinas de embarcaciones ya que a menudo se queda bloqueado, sobre todo con poco nivel la embarcación al estar en movimiento lo consigue accionar aunque el nivel sea relativamente bajo
