Review: Fantastic rain shower head - Love the two settings. I didn't mess with the pressure regulator -- so no, it doesn't generate ridiculously high amounts of pressure, but why should it? I'm not looking for an invigorating massage; I'm looking for enough pressure to be comfortable, soothing, and still effectively wash off dirt, grease, and grime. In fact, I tend to use the low-pressure Rain Shower setting almost exclusively and get clean just fine. After experiencing a rain shower head for the first time this summer while travelling, both the wife and I agreed we needed one for the home. We shopped around for weeks, poring through reviews and going to a few specialty stores to look at all sorts of models, including this one that we ultimately felt was the clear winner, especially in its price range. It was very easy to install, and while the shower head appears to be chrome-plated plastic, the actual hardware (threaded attachment, swivel socket, etc.) is all metal, and as a whole, the entire unit is quite sturdy. In a nutshell: looks great, shower feels great, and this head will likely last us until I grow old and die. I love it. ## Features - VERSATILE DESIGN: Chrome finish is highly reflective for a mirror-like look that works with any decorating style - POWERFUL RINSE: Advanced, self-pressurizing Moen Immersion rainshower technology channels water through the showerhead with 3 times more spray power than most rainshowers for a more thorough rinse - FULL COVERAGE: Large spray head rainshower for exceptional water coverage - TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Single handle lever make it easy to adjust the water - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004ZP97BO | | Best Sellers Rank | 407,588 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 512 in Fixed Showerheads | | Brand | Moen | | Colour | Chrome | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 942 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 5 Years | | Efficiency | 2.5 GPM | | Finish | Chrome | | Finish type | Chrome | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00026508220795 | | Included Components | Showerhead | | Installation Type | Wall Mounted | | Installation type | Wall Mounted | | Item Dimensions L x W | 25L x 25W millimetres | | Item Type Name | Two-Function Rainshower 8-Inch Showerhead with Immersion Technology | | Item Weight | 0.01 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Moen Incorporated | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Moen products have been manufactured under the highest standards of quality and workmanship. Great Shower. *by M***N on 9 April 2013* When looking for a rainshower-type shower head, I did a lot of googling for reviews and chose one or two candidates. But before making the purchase I checked the brand of faucets we already have and saw it was Moen (not one of the ones I was originally considering), and I did a specific search for Moen rainshower shower heads and found this one. I figured the quality would be pretty good because Moen isn't cheapo, and the price was reasonable (and much less than many of the showers). So I decided to try it and if it's not that great at least I haven't risked hundreds of dollars. I also researched what sort of special connections and installation I might need. I wanted it to fit my standard shower pipe in the wall (not ceiling). Some rainshower shower heads said they require professional installation. I wasn't sure with this one because it didn't have special instructions or diagrams. Well it couldn't have been simpler. We literally unscrewed our old shower head (loosening it with a wrench of course) and screwed this one right on. Bingo! Instant shower head! And when we turned it on, no adjustments were needed, it provided a wide spray of beautiful rain. The dual setting allows a lighter-landing spray or a slightly stronger one. I liked that choice because in reviews of other rainshower shower heads, a lot of people complained the stream wasn't strong enough to wash shampoo out of hair. We have it set on the softer setting and since our water isn't soft, it washes out shampoo just fine and is plenty strong. I thought I was in heaven for that first shower. It provides such a nice cover of water that I don't even have to use the second shower head I had installed in the master shower (I used to always run two shower heads at once). I should save a lot of hot water by just using this one shower head. So I guess you can see I LOVE this so far. I've only had it a week so I don't know about longevity yet. But it appears very sturdy and well-made. FYI I was at Home Depot the day after I bought this online and looked to see if they had the same thing and how much it cost, but they don't carry this model, they have different Moen rain shower shower heads. I highly recommend. NEW ADDITION TO REVIEW: Since I first wrote this review, I bought the same showeheads for all of our bathrooms and everybody in the family loves them. I don't think they could be any easier to install. I'm very pleased... the only outstanding question I won't know for some time is how long they hold up. But quite frankly for this great of a shower at this price, if I had to screw on another one in a few years it would be worth it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Moen Velocity Chrome Two-Function Rainshower 8-Inch Shower Head with Immersion Technology for a High-Pressure Rinse, S6320 - Moen Waterhill Chrome 14-Inch Replacement Extension Curved Shower Arm, S113 - Moen AT2199 Replacement Shower Arm Flange for Universal Standard Moen Shower Arms, Chrome --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.vn/products/52251169-moen-velocity-chrome-two-function-rain-shower-8-inch-showerhead](https://www.desertcart.vn/products/52251169-moen-velocity-chrome-two-function-rain-shower-8-inch-showerhead) --- *Product available on Desertcart Vietnam* *Store origin: VN* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
