Very cheap for the amount you get, seems to be good quality. Perfect for gaining weight

The 5kg bag is MASSIVE! But, it does the job and I've recently upped my training a lot in preparation for half-Ironman races. The powder is definitely tasteless. The mixing does initially clump together, but it dissolves in a few minutes. Seems to provide the energy I require and prolongs my endurance workouts. I do mix it with BCAA's to assist with recovery.

No taste so you can mix it with anything. Easy to mix. Gives you an extra energy during and after workout. Good price. Arrived very fast.

I suffer with constant terrible fatigue so I took this supplement, just once, to see if it would give me more energy. Basically, it turned me into the Hulk what about 30 to 60 minutes but then they come down was terrible. I guess the enormous amount of insulin that was in my body run out of carbohydrate to drive into my muscles and I felt really awful. I could not actually move fully for the best part of 2 hours. I managed to get some low GI food Down my neck too slowly fend off the low blood sugar. My Sony won't be doing this again

This bag of maltodextrin was great value. There is a scoop included for measuring and the bag is resealable. I use this mainly for making recovery drink, mixed with protein but it's very versatile.

Not very good dissolving with milk, but with water is OK.I use it with my protein to make geiner. Very weak sweet taste ! You can drink it like water ! Didn't gain any weight with this, but I have very active job and drink this only one time per day. Next time more!

Benutze Maltodextrin während der "offseason" als Intra - Workoutshake (30g) mit EAA`s sowie nach dem Training (30g) mit Iso - Whey. Geschmacklich ist es natürlich neutral, macht aber das Wasser etwas milchiger, je nachdem wie man es verdünnt, Shakes verlieren etwas an Geschmack, was aber natürlich normal ist. Gut finde ich, dass da keine Vitamine künstlich hinzugemischt wurden, sodass ich selber Vitamine sowie Nährstoffe so wie ich will dosieren kann. Die Qualität ist wie immer sehr gut, das Maltodextrin ist mehlig, löst sich gut auf. Allerdings habe ich es vom Beutel in einen Behälter getan, da ich alles immer dreckig mache beim "scoopieren" ;) Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist spitze, 5kg um 19 Euro, reicht für viele Monate. Habe früher Dextrose verwendet, allerdings bin ich nach der Einnahme aufgrund des stark erhöhten Insulinaustoßes aber immer schnell müde geworden, ebenfalls ist der Geschmack von Dextrose nicht besonders. Die Maisstärke hält den Insulinspiegel etwas konstanter wie Dextrose, somit kommt es zu keinen Schwankungen. Da Maltodextrin im Prinzip reiner Zucker ist, sollte man das natürlich in Betracht ziehen, dass man mit der Einnahme nicht übertreibt, vor allem Diabetiker oder Leute, die Probleme mit dem Blutzucker haben. Natürlich könnte man noch auf vielleicht bessere Alternativen wie Vitargo, allerdings ist da der Preis natürlich höher.

Ich habe durch ein Youtube Video davon Erfahren, dass Profi Sportler von (ehemals Sky) dies in Verbindung mit MCT und Fructose genutzt hatten. Ich habe mir gedacht, dass man das mal probieren kann. Es hatte mich immer gestört viel zu viel an Gewicht mit zu schleppen. Das ist jetzt glücklicherweise vorbei. Dadurch dass es sehr einfach skalierbar und einfach zu Mischen ist, kann man dem Produkt jede Menge Geschmacksrichtungen auch geben. Ich habe danach nie wieder Heißhunger und esse danach auch nicht Unmengen an anderen Nahrungsmitteln, nur um den Hunger zu stillen. Die längste Fahrt waren 3.5h mit 2.5 Flaschen davon und es war richtig angenehm und auch für den Magen gut verträglich. Man kann es bei Bedarf unterwegs auch noch verdünnen wenn man Wasser findet.

For the price it is quite affordable but be aware that this Maltodextrin is DE19. It is not highly branch meaning it has a high osmolarity and will stay longer in the stomach but taste much sweeter than DE10. Not a good choice for intra-workout but ok for post-workout or basic carb loading.
