Minty and Tink

We were given this book and loved it so much I gave another copy to a friend of my daughter's for her birthday. The story is utterly charming - a toy bear who is actually alive - and there is just enough suspense to keep an active 5 year old interested, the ending is happy without being schmaltzy. But the most amazing thing is how great it looks, the colours, the patterns are gorgeous, slightly like lauren child's (charlie and lola author) but less kooky, more drawn. altogether a great book for 3-6 year olds

My 3 year old daughter loves this book so much that after borrowing it from the library repeatedly I bought our own copy. a lovely book from the author of the Blue Kangaroo books. We love it!

Lovely story about teddy who talks to its owner. My dd adores this story.

a very well written book. my kids loved it. My 5 year old boy has memorised the words and my 3 year old girl reads the story in her own style. A good book with a nice ending. Encourages brother and sister love and cute imagination. I have blue kangaroo books by Emma Chichester Clarke and I am definately a fan. Great reading for kids!!!

We love this book. The illustrationas are wonderful, and it's got a slightly magical feel. Last night my 6 year old said she wanted a long version.

This book was in a lounge that my family frequently visits, and my son (3 yrs old) always goes to fetch it. He loves the story. Unfortunately the book has been thrown away at the lounge (it was missing some pages from other readers), and so I ahve ordered a replacement for at home.
