I should have purchased one, years ago
I should have purchased one, years ago. I have always used a router to cut biscuit joints. This is so much easier and more accurate. Delighted.

Good value for money
As long as the correct technique is used, helps create an accurate join.I bought it for lining up a long bevel.Difficult to position the tool at an acute angle on a mitre as the fence doesn't reach 135 degrees. I've since seen a hack where you place the mitres back to back and use the fence at 90°!It's easier to position the tool at an obtuse angle to mitre and produces satisfactory results.i.e with the fence at 45 degrees. The trend biscuits fit well. Size 10 for up to 18mm thickness.

Good price
Works well have used it a couple of times, only needed it for a new wood working job, some of the others were twice the price, and this seems to do the job fine, well made and nice case

A solidly built and accurate Biscuit Jointer
This was the first time I had used a Biscuit Jointer but it was very easy to learn quickly. I decided to make an office desk out of planks to save money and jointing them worked very well using biscuits. I watched a few YouTube tutorials and then took the plunge. It seemed to be very accurate and the planks went together very flat. The only advice I have for fellow newbies to jointing is to make sure you press the mechanism forward fully as some of the holes I did were a bit shallow. I think that this was most certainly user error though. Other than that I would recommend attaching a shop vacuum when using as that helped to clear the debris from the holes and jointer also.

Adjustment screw glued in place
Easy to use and very good value. Can only give a 3 star review as the fine adjustment screw cannot be moved. As delivered the cut wasn't quite deep enough - so ordinarily the fine adjustment screw just needs adjusting. It has a nut to lock it but won't move once that's slackened - seems to be glued in position. And the head on the screw isn't brilliant meaning no quality cross thread driver would get a good grip. If I tried any more it would chew up. Problem solved by grinding off a small section of the depth stop screw - but I shouldn't have had to do that.
