Great lighting
Lights up my garage perfectly, very light weight and bright. The price is definitely right with these

The best light’s ever.
These lights weigh nothing and are so easy to install. Love how they all link together. We liked the so much after receiving the first once we turned around and ordered more. Highly recommend - you will not be disappointed.

OK for the price
Had a shop light quick start ballast go out so decided to give these a try instead of replacing the ballast, especially since I wanted to add additional lights over my work bench and shelves. At $8.33 each for the 6 pack I knew they wouldn't be the best quality but heck they got good reviews so why not.The good:- They are brighter than my previous quick start fluorescent fixture with LED bulbs.- Given there is nothing on top of the bulbs I wasn't sure if I would like 360 degree light shining upward and having wasted light. However. given the LEDs are only on the bottom of the strip there is not light directly on the top so more like 340 degree light which still allowed light on my wall where I have tools hanging from peg board.- The on/off switch chain pulls smoothly and only turns off the single light. If you have lights daisy chained you would have to turn each off individually which could be good or bad depending on your application. Was a plus for me as I elected to install an outlet box on my switched wiring so I can turn them all off from the switch and then have the flexibility to turn individual lights on/off with the chain as needed. While I could have direct wired, I elected to install the switched outlet box to give me an extra outlet over my workbench and to make it easier to replace the fixture in the future.- The cord is long enough to reach beyond the length of the light so you could have lights installed on each side of the outlet while only using 1 outlet which I needed to do in my application. The not so good:- They are pretty flimsy as the length is just 2 lightweight plastic tubes around the LED strip so they flex if not supported at both ends.- Each end is encased with a plastic box with a blind T-slot mount on the top (can't see the center point from underneath). Given these are the only mount points you are somewhat limited in direct mounting which can pose issues (see below).- The center point of the slot mounts are 44 1/2" apart. Given I was wanting to do a direct mount, they didn't line up with my rafters.. My shop rafters are 24" centers so I needed 48" length to line them up on the ends (would be same distance for 16" centers). Luckily my shop has open rafters so I was able to install a block on the inside of each rafter to decrease distance for the install, but this created added work. If you had a sheet rock ceiling you wouldn't be able to do this, but given how light these lights are you could likely just attach to the sheetrock using the provided cheap plastic inserts.- Given the above issue, I first tried to use the chains to hang them but they wanted to tilt to the side where the weight of the cord was and given how lightweight these are there isn't enough weight to help stabilize them. While I could have likely made adjustments to the cord I didn't really like the wobble and if you did use the chain to turn off/on they would likely shift around. I'm also pretty picky so it would have drove me crazy if they weren't perfectly level.- Blind slot mounts can be a pain to direct mount as you need to have the screws at the precise distance to get them to line up. While you can do it with a tape measure, I found it easier to use a marker to mark the center point on the sides then hold the fixture up and drill a pilot hole at the marks.- For a fixed mount, you will need to keep adjusting the mount screws until you can get the fixture snug to the ceiling/rafter or they will slide out. To do this, you have to keep taking the light down to make adjustments as you can't access the screw from below. Given the mount point is between the bulbs, it would have been much easier if you could access the mount hole from the bottom. If you are using the chains this wouldn't be as much of an issue as you wouldn't have to be as precise or make multiple adjustments. In the end, I kind of struggled in what rating to give since they are relatively cheap compared to other lights. I was going to give them a 4 given how bright they are for the cost, but elected to give them a 3 because of the distance of the mount holes. When these were designed they should have known there needs to be end mounts at 48" to line up with rafters for a direct mount.

My well-lit garage
They are easy to install works great puts off plenty of light

not very bright
These barely surpass the old fluoresent 4 foot shop fixtures. To adequately light up a 12 x 20 garage I'll need atleast 16 of them, maybe more. If you buy them figure on atleast 10% of the bulbs to not work out of the box. One light would be adequate for a 4 foot work bench. They come with very short mounting chains so count on something else.
