Like other reviews note, the handle is purely decorative. It will NOT function as a handle without the base tipping and your items spilling out. That said, the overall unit functions perfectly as an indoor decorative wood holder leaving a small footprint. The feet under the carrier take up a space of 13” deep by 7” wide. The overhang of the oval-shaped carrier is 19.5” deep by 13” wide. With the faux handle, the unit is 17” tall. Despite the handle being completely ineffective as a handle, it can serve the purpose of supporting your wood pile so the logs on top don’t fall off. Assembly was easy and intuitive, and the matte black finish was nice. It’s sturdy enough, and the price was fair.

Let's start with building it; Easy! It took 5 minutes to get it assembled. A very intuitive way to create this product. Once built; Holds the firewood needed for a small fireplace. Because it's so open, loading and unloading of the wood is nice and easy. Can be decorated depending on the holiday. Super lightweight so it's very mobile. Quality; Surprisingly durable. The cute little legs look flimsy, but one put together they do thier job very well. The handle will swivel a bit no matter how tight you get it which is more than fine for my use case. The base can hold the wood easily without worry of it bending. I would highly recommend this product at the price they are asking which is just about 25 (usd) after taxes.

The quality is really good. It’s sturdy. It holds a decent amount of wood. It’s easy to clean.

I bought this to actually carry logs and not have as a decoration. Metal carriers are getting hard to find nowadays, most of them are fabric in this price range. Assembly was pretty straightforward. But as soon as I tried using it to carry some logs I immediately found the main flaw which is the pivot between the handle and the base. As with many products nowadays, I had to make some improvements myself. Easy fix: Popped in two 1/8" rivets above and below the screw holding the handle to the base, so that the handle doesn't swivel and now I can easily carry logs without the whole thing tipping and everything sliding out. Because of this flaw and the fact I had to make my own improvements, I don't think it's a super great value but it does the job, and it's all metal with no plastic or fabric.

This is a nice little addition to the hearth. I use it for kindling and it holds a ton. Not sure I’d use it for much volume of larger logs (I have a bigger rack for that) but for small pieces it works perfectly. It was a little bit of a pain to put together, but I was able to do it.

I love the look of it and it was easy to assemble. However, the handle sways, when it seems it should be sturdy/stable. Because when I pick up the unit with wood in it, the wood falls out (see video). It defeats the whole purpose of carrying wood from garage to free fireplace. I have tried tightening all the screws to no avail. Send help.
