Great for St.s
Good quality, fit St. Bernard neck, can be adjusted, easy to use. I hesitated buying a prong collar for my St. but my trainer insisted because he has dragged me to the ground when he is reactive. It doesn't rust. I use it for walks only. If he even tries to be reactive he comes back to me and regrets it. I don't pull unless he wants to start something, but even them it's a small tug.

Great Training Collar...
Great Products...Great Training Collar...with it, the leash is loose and dog comfortable...and can be guided with the pinky finger and a quick and gentle tug. Using a traditional collar, the dog pulls and chokes and the leash is always tight...

Life-changer...right when I was about to break the bank
I am not sure that I have ever written a review for a product. If I have...I am not sure when the last time I did was. I was feeling pretty confident about my dog training skills. Between gentle-leaders and no-pull harnesses, consistency, and positive reinforcement, I have trained 5 previous dogs to walk calmly on a leash. Four of those dogs were all at once. "look at me and my skills!" I thought....walking all four of these lab-mixes all at once. For years. Calmly. And then... Bodhi (an 8 month old 65 lb golden retreiever/husky mix) came into my life and humbled me almost right onto my toosh onto a road with traffic. Because a dog was across the street with a bell on his collar and the excitement was just too much! First I used a no-pull harness. Then a gentle leader. Then a trainer I worked with in an obedience class recommended a martingale. It was useless. The gentle leader I used was the most effective, and that was still minimal and I felt like I was hurting him during corrections. We walk twice a day and I dreaded it. I thought I was a calm, cool dog owner. I fet like I was turning into a crazy person alternating between corrections and positive reinforcement on our walks. Although, my 14-year-old lab mix was loving all training treats she was getting alongside every attempt I made to reward Bodhi for positive behavior. I was convinced for months I was doing something wrong and feeling guilty and more defeated with every youtube video I watched about just needing to figure out better communication with my dog. I was on the verge of breaking the bank and sending him away to a 2-week board-and-train program. I heard prong collars were inhumane, but when I got desperate, I started to research them. In just ONE DAY, the results were immediate. And boy wagged his tail throughout the whole walk and just looked up at me when we saw another dog and gladly took treats instead of pulling. I watched multiple youtube videos about using this correctly before trialing it and introduced him to it in the backyard first. It feels sooooo much more humane than constant corrections and stopping and changing directions throughout our walks. It was calm and easy and I felt like ME again. The corrections were drastically less and we all were happy and calm throughout our walk. SO HAPPY I TRIED THIS. Nothing inhumane about it. And good learning for me about recognizing different methods for different dogs. We look forward to many calm, long walks in our future!

Remarkably Effective Training Tool: Herm Sprenger Micro-Prong Collar Review
The Herm Sprenger Micro-Prong Collar has proven to be an invaluable training aid in transforming my dog's behavior with incredible effectiveness. While prong collars may raise questions for some, my experience with the Herm Sprenger Micro-Prong Collar has been overwhelmingly positive, resulting in improved control, communication, and ultimately a happier and well-behaved canine companion. From the outset, I was initially skeptical about using a prong collar due to concerns about discomfort or potential harm to my dog. However, my research led me to the Herm Sprenger brand, known for their quality craftsmanship and focus on dog safety. I decided to give their Micro-Prong Collar a try, and the results have been nothing short of remarkable. One of the standout features of this collar is its thoughtful design. The "micro" prong links are finely crafted and rounded, reducing the likelihood of discomfort or injury to my dog's skin. Additionally, the evenly distributed pressure from the prongs prevents the sharp "jabbing" sensation that some traditional prong collars might produce. The effectiveness of the Herm Sprenger Micro-Prong Collar lies in its ability to provide clear and immediate feedback to my dog during training. The gentle pressure applied through the prongs mimics the natural communication dogs use with each other, facilitating a deeper understanding of commands and desired behaviors. This has been particularly beneficial for dogs that tend to pull or exhibit stubborn behavior during walks. Training sessions have become significantly more productive and efficient thanks to the precise control offered by this collar. My dog's responsiveness to commands has increased, resulting in a safer and more enjoyable experience for both of us during walks and other activities. One concern often raised about prong collars is the potential for misuse or harm. However, the Herm Sprenger Micro-Prong Collar comes with detailed instructions on proper fitting and usage. When used correctly, the collar should sit high on the dog's neck and should never be used for prolonged periods. I appreciate the manufacturer's emphasis on responsible use and training techniques. In terms of build quality, the Herm Sprenger Micro-Prong Collar is second to none. The stainless steel construction not only ensures durability but also minimizes the risk of rust or corrosion, even in wet or humid conditions. In conclusion, the Herm Sprenger Micro-Prong Collar has exceeded my expectations in terms of effectiveness and training outcomes. While prong collars may not be suitable for all dogs or owners, this collar stands out as a well-designed, humane, and reliable tool for those seeking improved control and communication during training. With its focus on safety, craftsmanship, and responsible use, the Herm Sprenger Micro-Prong Collar has earned a solid 5 out of 5 stars. If you're in search of a training aid that can make a positive impact on your dog's behavior, this collar is certainly worth considering. Pros: Effective and immediate feedback during training Thoughtfully designed micro prong links for dog comfort High-quality stainless steel construction Clear usage instructions for responsible training Cons: May not be suitable for all dogs or training philosophies Overall, a highly effective training tool that has made a significant difference in my dog's behavior and training progress.

Perfect for my Doberman
This collar fits my Doberman really well and feels very sturdy and well made. It sits nicely on his neck and doesn’t move around. When used properly, it helps a lot with communication during walks and training, and he responds much better compared to a regular collar. The links are smooth, easy to adjust, and overall it just feels like a high-quality product. Very happy with it and how well it works for my dog.

I was cheaping out and bought a no name prong on amazon. Not only it is way too big (already the smallest the seller has) for my 15lb mini American Eskimo, but it also very hard to pinch in and out to put on my dog. So I googled around and got this OG HS micro prong. Let me tell you, this thing is unreal! I put on my dog, immediately i see result! Gave 2 gentle corrections when she tried to pull when see another dog and human, she did ouch quite a bit, but no more pulling afterwards when we were in elevator with other humans. (She loves to jump on other people before!) Some people would argue prong is inhumane. But it is actually more humane. The dog need to learn not to pull and it is already better to have short extreme pain than long medium pain. Before when i used regular collar or choke collar, my dog pull like crazy when she saw dogs or human. I ended up needing to use so much force to drag her around everyday whereas prong gave her sudden pain then she don’t pull and no more pain!
