this is a great set for anyone interested in watercolors. this is a great set with tons of pigment.

Read the description carefully, because this gouache is not the typical gouache, it's definitely a lot shinier than any other gouache I've tried and if I apply the paint thickly, the glossiness gets in the way of me being able to see the color properly due to all the glare. I assume whatever they put in the paint that ends up making it shiny is also the thing that makes it reactivate though, because it's very good at that.This set would be amazing for a travel/dry palette, it is by far the best I've tried for reactivating from dry, especially if you paint on the washy side (it's a lot less shiny when applied in a wash). Great pigment load, vibrant colors, overall pretty good set but I personally wouldn't buy it again because It's much too shiny for my tastes.

Amazing. If allowed to dry in pans, it can be reconstituted in seconds with a soft brush/water. If you close the palette with a damp sponge in it, it stays very moist. It’s creamy and so smooth. It’s opaque if used thicker, transparent if thinned. This is better than all my others, I have a lot of main brands! It does not crack in the pans and says if you apply it thickly to paper, it won’t crack on paper. It’s simply beautiful to use. I just bought a second set in case they don’t come back. The search is over.

I prefer dried paint on my palette. So I dry the paints on my palette before I try them. They were so high pigmented that I could not feel that I was using dried gouache. Unlike Holbein which is also one of my favorite, this gouache paints didnt get much cracks when it was dried, but they shrink a little bit.

If you're looking for qouache that won't crumble and crack when dried out in pans, these are perfect. They are made with honey, which probably has something to do with it. I'm definitely happy with my purchase!
