Is this for a set of 6 as advertised? I see conflicting customer reviews as to the quantity recieved.

No it’s for 12 and it won’t fit in my dishwasher so I never used it. Total waste of my money! Do NOT buy this!!

How do I remove one of the shelf extenders?

There are clips on the side of the unit that will allow you to detach the extenders
