Wow.
Wow, I could not put this one down. This guy is something else. I really enjoyed every part of this novel. Like all Glatt books, it's well researched and there's a lot of backstory (which I love, personally). It really sheds light on someone who operates on a completely different plane of existence. No morals, no ethics, no f's given whatsoever. Obviously serial killers in general are messed up, with values we do not understand, but this guy's antics involved so many different spheres of influence from financial and business fraud to kidnapping of a baby! But I won't spoil it. Just read it because it's super fascinating, enraging, and messed up.

JOHN GLATT
This is an author that I consider the best next to ANN RULE. His books are easy to read and very interesting. I keep a lot of his books as possible re-reads.

A cautionary tale
I have been a true crime fan for many years but this is the first I have heard of John Robinson. The book is well-written and shocking how so many women were duped by this horrible person. My only complaint is that this author doesn't include photos in his books.

Okay, Gave John Glatt another try..
Read the book "Twisted". I felt it was a rushed writing with a lot of reliance on police reports and court testimony. This book was a little better. Book starts out great but ends with a lot of court testimony and local town drama. I really wanted to hear how law enforcement learned about the baby being adopted by John's brother. This book did not go into this part.

OMG! Twisted indeed!
I was shocked and at times horrified by this story. How easily people in this particular alternative lifestyle could be manipulated into their graves. This guy was a cruel master indeed. It wouldn’t surprise me if this type of thing didn’t happen more often in the bdsm culture. Sure seems like a risky culture to me.Wild, wild true crime book, like no other I’ve ever read!
