The peeler works really well and saves me so much time. I believe it is worth the price.and am very pleased with my purchase. I'll be honest, for what this item does and for what it is constructed of, it is VERY expensive. I hesitated before purchasing it for $170.00! I have an electric potato peeler that operates in much the same way that cost about $20.00, so I assumed the VERY high price tag on this item would also mean that it would work flawlessly, and that perhaps, it's performance would make me feel at least okay about forking over almost $200.00 (after taxes), however, "feeling okay" was far from the case.Though I knew that cost for this item was high, I had just purchased a cold press juicer and I wanted something that would make pealing certain fruits, such as oranges and lemons, easier, thus the reason I decided to buy this item in spite of the high cost. Unfortunately, it did not perform as described. The unit would almost always have a problem with holding the fruit. Much of the time when I attempted to use it, the fruit would get lifted from the base and begin spinning. In order to actually peel the fruit and stop it from being lifted from the base I was forced to press down on the top while using it. Interestingly enough, I placed the fruit on the $20 potato peeler and it worked with no problem.I've since returned this item, but I am VERY disappointed to find that I only received a PARTIAL refund! I honestly had no idea that my refund was only partial until clicking on my purchase details while writing this review. My total cost after taxes was $180.72, however, the refund was only $160.00!I will never purchase anything from this seller again.

Because it is made in Spain it is super overpriced at $169.00. China can make the same one for $39.00. If you pay more than $39.00 then Shame on you. This peeler will only peel small to medium oranges it will not peel lemons because of the thickness of the skin. Grapefruit are to large and will not peel any soft fruit like kiwi etc. The small blade adjustments ate a joke and very cheaply made. The peeler starts peeling from the bottom up leaving the white skin and then starts peeling down removing the white skin and some of the orange reducing the size of the orange and causing a lot of waste. And No matter what you do you cannot adjust the peeler. It really is a pricey piece of junk. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This is the best fruit peeler ever! I use it mainly for oranges - I bang out 2 boxes of oranges = approx 26ilbs in under an hour from peeling to juicing. I have found the trick is not to get super huge navels. It took me a couple times too get it down - I even called the company and they where super helpfull

The biggest issue I have with this peeler is being able to get the thickness of the peel down correctly. The instructions say to turn the screw on the discharge tube to manage thickness levels, but that doesn't seem to do anything much. It seems a more manual process where you have to judge how big or small the gap is between the blade and the tube. Then when you remove the discharge tube to clean it, you run into the same problem when replacing it. This had led to a lot of waste if I get it wrong because it either leaves too much pithe on the orange or digs into the orange too much. So bottom line is when this is working at the proper width it's a great tool.

The media could not be loaded. Four hours to process 120 pounds of apples into sauce with cook and clean time. One extra person could have reduced time to under two hours.It’s well built and easy to clean. These apples maxed out the machine and it didn’t care.It rolls over rot spots allowing for easy removal after and only missed a face portion on one apple due to irregular shape.

This thing literally broke in 3 months of use LOLLL $200? This should not be more than 50 dollars cheaply made. I bought it in January and it went out before April smhh

This little machine is fantastic. We juiced 16 juicing oranges to make a pitcher of Delicious sweet tart juice. Next, we added a peeled large carrot to some oranges - Wonderful! The machine works well. It’s actually fun to see how effectively and “spiraly” the skins & pith comes off! Highly recommend! Next: Orange- Mango juice😁
