Great (apparently)
Bought this for my wife, who says it's a great piece of kit. 👍

Reasonable glue gun, but way too expensive
This is a very ordinary hot melt glue gun, and looks exactly like just about any other glue gun, it has mains lead, and a little stand that flicks around to help the gun stand up when it's turned on. It doesn't have an on/off switch on the handle like one of my other glue guns. It does come with a reasonable bundle of clear glue sticks. It warms up reasonably quickly and does dispense the melted glue evenly without too much running out when the trigger isn't operated, which is good. It does seem to get the glue to a higher temperature than one of my other glue guns, which can be either an advantage or a problem, depending on what you are gluing. My main issue with this set is the price, at the time of writing it is priced at £24.85, including a claimed discount of 21% from the RRP of £31.40. Even the reduced price is very expensive compared to other products on Amazon, there is even a branded (Loctite) version for just £12.99 and others with equal or more glue sticks from about £10.00. I think that this should be priced at around £12 - £13 for it to be reasonable value for money. So, even though it is a perfectly adequate glue gun, I just can't recommend it because of the price.

Exploded after 3 months of little use.
I liked the glue gun at first, but it did get quite hot. But after three months of little use, one day it exploded with a loud bang and a strong smell of burning. Seems to be very dangerous, glad I hadn't left on it's own it at the time.

A reasonably priced glue gun that is very useful
This is a review from my husband:This is a very reasonably priced glue gun and it comes with plenty of glue sticks to get you started and hot glue is so much better than normal adhesives for various tasks around the home. It's a must and if you don’t have one and think you don’t need one, then think again because this can tackle the stuff that superglue just can't! We have a caravan and it's invaluable in there as it's great at sticking down wayward bits of vinyl that start to loosen over time and it sets nicely. It's not as obnoxious as superglue as it's more malleable as well and deffo not stinky, so it's quite kiddy safe and you don’t have to shoo the kids away because of fumes, which is a definite bonus. It comes in a bubble, blister pack which any normal person hates, but if you have a toolbox then you have storage so no problem there. It has a nice little stand to keep everything safe and heats up really quickly. I was impressed at this price as it's really good vfm and I'd highly recommend it to anyone as it has multiple applications from DIY to arts and crafts. The only thing that bugged me is there's no LED to indicate readiness, so for that, i'll give it 4/5 😊

Great tool, every household needs one.
As with many families, you have things around your house that fall apart over time, you have toys that break and wear and tear you need to resolve. This has been a great addition to the house, it comes with what you need, a mains powered glue gun and a butt ton of glue sticks. It heats up pretty quickly so you're never waiting long and you simply just feed in the gun and take on your task.Only used it twice. On my sliding doors, some of the rubber lining came free and the glue gun smashed that task in minutes and some of the trim around my kitchen worktop came loose and again the glue gun does what superglue can't always do (or requires loads of).Keep it away from your kids, it is super hot and my girls are super curious which is a recipe for disaster.Really happy, just sits in my toolbox like the worthy tool it is!

Very well made!
I believe this is a very effective rapid glue gun it works exceptionally well specially for my arts and crafts I found it incredibly useful easy to use convenient and deficient usage so far haven't had any problems with the product there's no clogging up and you get around 5 blue sticks so far the one I'm still using his lasted me well so far so I haven't had to use another one yet but I believe because it's a rapid glue gun it does go quite quickly so you have to constantly fill out but wanted blue good yes for sure is the machine effective definitely igloo on the rapid light place is fantastic and it works for different types of applications and appliances as well when using it so for that I definitely recommend it especially for the price.

Robust, competent glue gun with plenty of glue sticks
I like the glue gun but I’m not a fan of the plastic packaging which, once it is opened, all the glue sticks spill out so it is no use for storage, a cardboard or plastic storage box would have been more useful. The gun comes with 1.5m of reasonably flexible cable terminated in a UK plug, it takes standard 12mm glue sticks, and plenty are supplied. Heat up is quick, about 3 to 4 minutes, and, unlike my old glue gun which required you to push the glue stick into the gun, there is a trigger feed which works well. There is no “on” indicator light which, considering that the gun gets hot, would have been useful. 500gm of glue sticks are provided and these produce virtually clear melted glue. In common with most glue guns there is some dribbling of the glue when it is hot and not being used. The gun is robustly constructed and there is a good supply of glue sticks in the kit.
