It's hard to get excited about wall plugs, but after years of buying cheap, and struggling with plugs spinning in the wall when tightening screws, I figured I'd give these a try.And excited I got! No more spinning plugs. They fit into the hole snug and tight, and keep their grip even with the tightest of screws.I've been using these exclusively for my house renovations for the past year, and have never had one fail. Really chuffed with how they perform. Super high quality wall plugs, and well worth paying a little extra for.

Fischer Duopower come highly recommended. They are not the cheapest wall plugs, but they are also not unreasonably priced. Their holding power is significant and I can attest they hold firm in a brick wall. I cannot comment on their performance in plasterboard as I have not had an opportunity to try them in this medium yet.Their sheer versatility and advanced multi material nature means they should be your default option for fixing things to walls in your home. They do not mangle like cheaper versions and I have full confidence that they will hold the quoted weight values with ease. No need to look further - this should be your choice.Tip: If they're ever loose in a hole (maybe you drilled it too wide), you can get a product called "filler discs" (brand name "wet n fix"). These secure the wall plugs in the hole like a charm.

I am a house mover for a number of firms in Northern Ireland. I double up as a handyman to the customers I move and the local area. When I'm hanging pictures, mirrors, fixing cabinets to walls this is by far the best rawl plug in my arsenal.It's strong, great grip when in the wall and easily flush cut if the hole is shallow yet still holds firm.

Not cheap but they work every time, the right drill size will give you a solid fixings highly recommended 6-8-10 sizes will cover most DIY jobs.
