I've never got on with sprays because you always miss a bit so have always bought bands. I was extremely impressed that in the 10 days that I wore the first band, I didn't get a single bite. I wore it pretty much 24/7, only taking off when I showered as I have very long hair and it got tangled into the band when I washed my hair. The only downside I noticed was that over the 10 days the band stretched, so by day / night 7 it was quite loose and I woke up finding it had come off in the night which is why I've given 4 stars not 5. Having said that the effectiveness of the band can't be faulted and I've now put my 2nd band on and hope for similar results!
