Once opened they need to be used and between me and the children we wore them as accessories and didn’t get bitten once and we normally all have a few bites..and we went to Thailand so was expecting to be bitten. I’m glad for the big bag and will definitely order these for my next hot holiday!

I was a bit sceptical about these having read some.of the reviews, however the bands I usually buy seem to have shrunk and I find them uncomfortable to wear so I thought I'd give these a go. When you first take them out of the packet the smell is quite strong but it's not unpleasant so that's no problem, they are comfortable to wear and the colours are nice too. I generally get eaten alive quite regularly and have occasionally had reactions to bites resulting in antibiotic treatment so having an effective repellent is important to me. I've never got on with sprays because you always miss a bit so have always bought bands. I was extremely impressed that in the 10 days that I wore the first band, I didn't get a single bite. I wore it pretty much 24/7, only taking off when I showered as I have very long hair and it got tangled into the band when I washed my hair. The only downside I noticed was that over the 10 days the band stretched, so by day / night 7 it was quite loose and I woke up finding it had come off in the night which is why I've given 4 stars not 5. Having said that the effectiveness of the band can't be faulted and I've now put my 2nd band on and hope for similar results! At roughly £1 a band which lasts for 250 hours and can be taken off and resealed in the packet I think these are a great value for money and plan to purchase more so that I can have constant protection and avoid costly bite remedies and itching!

One on each ankle stopped the sand flies from nipping. Strong but pleasant citrus smell.

They are ok. I didn’t get bitten but then I rarely do anyway. The one major downside is that they stretch after a day or so and are easily lost in a pool. I will go back to the leather look tie in bands next time.

I never have time to write reviews but totally needed to make time for this. I am ALWAYS ALWAYS the one to get a mosquito bite on ANY holiday. Greece, Maldives..... so I was bringing my 3 children for a holiday to Spain this year. Aged 7, 5 & 3. I did purchase some jungle formula DEET kids version as well as MAXIUM strength for me. I also bought room diffusers. I know!!! Case was weighed down with mosquito repellents more than clothes LOL.... I had researched organic repellents but spoke to our GP before going who said not a lot of substantive research to say that those products work. we were going away for 7 nights & I bought 2 packs of 10 bands and there were 6 of us. I didn't need to use room diffusers and didn't need to use DEET on myself or the children. The little one ate hers when she had it on so I put her hair in a ponytail and tied it up with that. My 5 yr old wore hers round her neck (too cool for school) I had every intention of wearing 2 on each wrist & ankles lol.... but actually only wore one. The 1st night I put Deet on everyone but 2nd night went out with just bands. Totally delighted no one got bite. I didn't reuse them I actually just put used ones round the buggy or maybe on an ankle. I opened a new one for everyone each night except my husband..... who, from experience, knows they are too busy feeding off me to bother him. The hotel had a playpark so we were always out around dusk or early evening and went for a walk to the beach after dinner. We also ate al fresco most nights. If you are prone to getting bites you understand how miserable they are I always got huge red swollen bites and the itch drove me crazy for a minimum of 7 days even with pirition. However as I had never been to Spain I did do some research that said they had mosquitos but there may not have been anywhere we were. The bands are lovely colors and smell lovely not at all offensive or overpowering. The girls didn't mind wearing them at all. They aren't too tight. I would hate to suggest not taking other precautions and someone have a truly miserable time getting bite but I loved this product and loved that it was totally organic.

I purchased these in advance of going to America on holiday. I thought they would be useful as we are travelling around and I wanted to avoid any bug bites. As each wristband lasts upto 250 hours and I am away for a long time with family, I decided to test them out in advance. I have worn a single bracelet on several outings over the past few days. Once to a lake on a very hot day. I opened a fresh bracelet and put it on. I also gave one to my sister and mother who were with me. It did not stop the flies and mosquitos from flying around us and biting us still. Also, my sister is allergic to lemon and made her wrist itch and she had to remove it after a short period of time. I then decided to give the wristband another go when we went to the coast 2 days later. The band was on my right wrist. I have a bite on my index finger on my right hand and on both middle fingers. I also have 1 bite that is now big and red on my right leg and 3 big red bites on my left leg. All in all, I am extreamly disappointed in the use of this bracelet. They look good for children and can be used in different places, but what good are they if they don't even protect the limb that they are on??

Used this brand before. Better if packed as pairs as the last longer. Multipacks need to change the bands more regularly.

Ja die Wirkung kann ich noch nicht genau beschreiben. Ich trage das Band am Fuß und bis jetzt hat mich kein Insekt gestochen. Auf jeden Fall mal modern und nicht stinkend. Ich gehe täglich mit meinem Hund spazieren und hatte vorher schon 3 Stiche bekommen.

Plutôt agréable à porter. Ne sert ni au poignet ni à la cheville. Et protège efficacement. À voir s'il dur aussi longtemps que dit sur l'emballage. Mais pour le moment 5j avec = 0 piqûres ( vs les 7/8 par soir sans ). Les couleurs sont funs pour l'été mais zéro discrétion. Même si pour les filles ça fait un peu les élastiques de la même forme. Mention spéciale : il sent assez fort la citronnelle. D'autre ne sentent rien dans d'autre marque, c'est à noté pour ceux dont l'odeur incommode. Bref je suis ravie de mon achat, et de ne plus servir de nourriture aux moustiques

Lo usé para dormir en una casa de campo con los amigos y también las tuve fuera, durante la madrugada, antes de dormir. No recibí ninguna picadura. Mientras dormia me puse una en el brazo y otra en la pierna contraria, me picaron en la que no tenia ninguna, enseguida me puse otras 2 (son cuatro en total). A la mañana siguiente no tenia más picaduras pero el resto de los que compartian habitación si. Así que parece que han funcionado perfectamente. El olor es muy agradable y eso que a mi me molestan los olores fuertes. Es una mezcla de citronela con limón.
