Amazing product!
Amazing! Yes, it can be pricey, but if you struggle with eating out, it is more than worth it. IBS issues had me always worried about dinners with family, be it home cooked or dining out. Now, I have limited worries. Fodzyme does not help with certain things—honey, apples, agave, etc if they are trigger foods. BUT it does help with so many more! I’m able to eat pizza, dairy and things I thought I would be able to. I usually sprinkle one dose on my dinner, if I am eating a larger meal, I will do two packets, spread out. It doesn’t have any taste. The individual packets have 1/3 of a tsp in them vs the recommended dosage of 1/4tsp.

Incredible product!!!
My daugter struggles to digest gluten products, garlic, onions, and other high fructan containing foods. For years she has had stomach pain and been afraid to eat. This product has been an abolute life changing find for us. She is eating regular meals again without hesitation. Zero stomach pain when she uses this powder. It is tasteless and blends right it. What a beatiful invention. Thank you!!!!

Use extra for garlic
I’m lactose intolerant and sensitive to beans, broccoli, chickpeas, you name it. But garlic and onion are the worst. I’ve taken Beano and Lactaid for years but recently discovered Fodzyme. Whatever third ingredient they use to help with garlic and onion is fantastic. It works so much better than Beano (even in high doses). It’s easy to use and I don’t mind the very slight taste to the powder. However I recommend that people experiment with the level. Often times I have to use 1.5 or even 2 scoops of this for more garlic-heavy dishes otherwise my stomach is still upset. Definitely lean on the side of more powder rather than less. I would love if Fodzyme came out with an “extreme” or “extra” product to help those of us who need more. Also I understand that individual packets will cost more than buying in bulk but setting it at literally twice the price is ridiculous.

Works, but challenging to use
I have used the FODZYME product about 15 times so far and would say it definitely helps with the digestion of mushrooms, onions, and garlic, which were giving me issues earlier. What is keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the price per serving and the way it has to be used. First, I understand this is a unique product, and Kiwi Biosciences has a lot of research and start-up costs associated with this. I hope they will be able to drop the price in the future because the price per serving is cost prohibitive for a lot of people. Many FODMAPs are important staples of people's diets and it is hard to avoid them. The single serving sizes are even worse per serving and create additional waste with their packaging. FODZYME has definitely helped me with the testing I've done so far, but the cost is kind of wild. Second, trying to measure out the powder and then eat the food with the powder on it is a challenge. The 1/4 tsp scooper is kind of a mess to handle, and with the desiccant packet in the product, it's just not easy to grab this mini scooper and scrape around in the little container. This might sound silly, but having a bunch of powder on your food is kind of a choking hazard. It is really easy to inhale or exhale this stuff unless you integrate it into your first bite. As an example, sprinkling it on pizza, it just sits on the top of the slice. Using it on salad (with onions/garlic in the dressing) is not easy either. It's not a great product delivery. I understand it needs to mingle with the food to do its job, but aren't there vegetarian capsules that dissolve super fast that could be used instead? If there were capsules, the wasteful single-serving size wouldn't be needed. I hope Kiwi Biosciences continues to evolve this product's packaging and pricing so it is easier and more affordable to use.

A must if you have to eat low FODMAP.
I've had SIBO for almost a decade at this point, so I'm quite acquainted with using enzymes to help me digest my food in a way that doesn't leave me miserable in the bathroom afterwards. This powder is an absolute must if you're hesitant about any food you're eating. If you have any kind of special diet, you know the mental girding you do to ask a server or whoever about what's in the food you're about to order or eat. Sometimes they have the answers, often times they don't, and often they are given bad information because people think I'm just being difficult. I can make educated guesses about what's safe this far into my SIBO journey, but sometimes people don't think about garlic powder or onion powder, or what have you. This is especially handy for decanting into a smaller container (I use little squeeze bottles from Daiso Japan that I think are intended for salad dressing in packed lunches) when you're eating away from home or traveling. When I go home to see my family in Georgia, when I tell servers at a restaurant that I can't have any garlic or onion, they say to me, "Oh, there isn't much in it! It'll be fine!" not understanding that no, it actually won't be fine, and you won't be around when it's not fine. So this powder is super helpful for that. Yeah, they sell the small packets, but sometimes I need more powder for a meal than one little packet provides, so that's why I like to be able to decide what amount I'm dispensing. You don't notice the taste at all, unless you get some stuck to the roof of your mouth like I do when I eat spicy tuna on crispy rice. Then it has a slightly subtle sweet taste, but nothing that overpowers the food at all. I'm able to eat a small amount of avocado with this, which wasn't the case before I started using it. It's pricey, for sure. But it's worth it to me to introduce some more variety of vitamins and nutrients back into my diet in a way I couldn't before. I hope my long-term health sees the dividends.

Works well if you follow the instructions: Sprinkle on food (sufficiently cooled to prevent enzyme denaturing) and you will enjoy foods without getting sick. I use the full recommended amount, and use more if I eat again. Fodzyme treats most of the FODMAP oligosaccharides that are blamed for the unpleasant side effects of IBS.

Excellent for fructans and GOS intolerance. No I can enjoy pizza and so many other things when out with friends, and I don’t need to ask my family to alter their cooking.
