Works amazing
Amazed by the way these bioballs work I changed over from lava rock and there's no comparison these are amazing. Opened pond 3 days ago and was cloudy in 3 days its crystal clear. New filter media as well course pad, medium pad, and carbon pad and Microbe startup jel. Couldn't be happier with results. Initial cost a little pricy but to me well worth the money.

Seem to Work Well
Seems to work well, but the bag seems fairly small for my pond filter area. Could probably use two bags but we'll see how one goes. Beats lifting lava bags as they are super light weight. In fact, had to put some weight into the bag to make sure it stayed put.

Healthy pond
It's a big bag. Great for adding surface area for bacteria. Placed the bag in my Biosteps filter, hopefully helps prevent crashes. Great quality. Better than the cheap Chinese stuff. Initially thought it was expensive but now I think you get what you pay for. Worth it

Needed a replacement set of bio balls for my pond, these fit the bill as well as fitting inside of my waterfall container!

Very effective, and easy to clean

Disappointing.
I have a similar product that came with the filter & wanted a backup. The original product is a larger bag with a draw string. This one is a smaller bag with a zipper. It doesn't actually fit in the filter as well a it should. Disappointing.

Works well
LOTS of balls! I actually took half out. Totally catches algae. I rinse them periodically . Put them in my waterfall container. Helps a LOT. Worth the $$

Overly Expensive
As is typical of pond equipment from Aquascape, it retails for a crazy pricing structure, and they don't even manufacture any of the products. They mostly originate from cheap Asian resources, and of course, you get what you pay for. In this case the Bia Balls does the job intended however, the quantity one gets for the price doesn't come close to be adequate for the typical volume of Bio Falls equipment. Won't be purchasing anymore stuff from Aquascape.
