Takes the work out of scrubbing walls
This has been a game changer for me. I have pain in my hands due to an injury as well as arthritis, but this scrubber tool allows me to get so much more done in terms of cleaning than I could do manually and the results are impressive. It does a bang up job on just about anything, the little bristles can get into the smallest nooks and crannies- it’s great for cleaning baseboards and walls too. I use a gentle natural cleanser and this handy little gadget lifts the dirt and makes even the darkest scuffs disappear without scratching the paint. I might buy a couple more to keep in different areas of the house, bathroom, kitchen because I carry this thing around everywhere. I haven’t tried the soft scrubber, I’ve only used the hard bristled scrubbing attachment. It’s gentle on surfaces but gets the job done.

An elbow-grease machine
OK, I admit it- I'm an older single guy who's still working, and isn't always as diligent as I should be about cleaning up right away. I love to make my own food. There comes a point where I have to do a marathon clean-up to try to get things back to clean & tidy. That's where the Grimebuster comes in.I like the scrubbing power, and I don't have a problem with the speed it operates at. If it went faster, the centrifugal force of the brush would be spraying water and mess everywhere. I can put plenty of pressure on it, and it'll keep spinning. It works fine in water. For regular dish washing, if I have deposits to scrub off before putting it into the dishwasher, a quick one-over usually works fine. For stove tops, counter tops, or tub & shower, I've found it very effective. The charging stand starts charging it up immediately when I hang it up, so it's always ready to go.One complaint I have- I've been using the bristle brush for most applications. It also came with a multi-purpose sponge, with a white head. I haven't used it too much, but I found that it started falling apart quickly, and became useless before I was ready to stop. I'm ordering a set of heavy-duty replacement sponges here on Amazon to see if they hold up better. I won't be ordering any more all-purpose sponges- they really are not durable.Despite that one issue, I'm happy with my Grimebuster, and I will continue to use it.Now- back to cleaning!

LOVE IT - but WARNING: Be Ready for a fIght to get it out of the package!
PACKAGINGI'm a big fan of the Black & Decker Grime Buster so when this arrived I was excited to get it charging so I could try it out. I have to warn you it is professionally entombed in plastic on the level of Hans Solo entombed in carbonite. While trying to extract it from the package I sliced my hand open, OUCH! Seriously be careful!! PRO TIP cut the bottom open first, this may a no-brainer to you, but it took me a minute!PRODUCTAfter charging the advised 12 hours I was ready to go. At first I thought it had less power than it's smaller cousin, it turned out that the only difference is this one makes a lower sound when turning than the grime buster. It scrubbed the sink and pans perfectly. You may ask why I purchased this one, after being so satisfied with the smaller Grime Buster. As it happened when my son was home from college he used the Grime Buster and announced that it would change his life at school. So I went to purchase another one and saw this. The liked the idea of the handle to help when scrubbing the tub and shower and being rechargeable was also a selling point.OVERALLDurable and easy to use. Fits nicely on the counter, scrubs grout, sinks, pans, tile, and grills clean.Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and I hope that the one going to college with my son inspires him and his roommates to clean!!

Pathetic
This case in one of those welded shut plastic shells. I cut my finger badly trying to open it. Not only is it welded shut but the shape prevents you from using scissors along the edge. But, when I finally got the unit out of the packaging and gave it a 48 hour charge (as requested), the unit would not turn on. Pressing the power button, you could see the motor make a tiny attempt at turning (a near twitch) and stop. Then we can talk about the silly charging stand. A huge chunk of plastic the brush hangs from. How I would find a place to set this up is unknown, but not a problem since it got returned. All in all a waste of time. I went with a different model and have been much happier.

Good idea, bad shape, needs more attachments
Positives: The thing has enough torque to keep going when you scrub something... and the thing doesn't spin so fast it flings your dish across the room... so props to that. The charger is also where it hangs to drip dry, and the charging interface is recessed & doesn't short even when wet... neat concept.Negatives: 1. The thing is an awkward shape - would be more useful if it weren't angled. In fact, the most useful aspect of this for me would have been to clean inside cups that people have left lying around and stuff has dried in them. Even without that use case, you can't use it for cups at all due to the shape, which is a major disappointment. It is also a bit too big, even with my larger hands. 2. The way it hangs on the charger is neat, but awkward because there is little room for error when hanging it. You can easily knock the lightweight charger over. 3. It only comes with one other attachment which is a kind of buffing pad / scrub pad. It doesn't last long and replacing it is not exactly cheap. 4. Speaking of attachments, the brush bristles are a bit too firm, meaning that they fling liquid and debris if you don't keep the device under water when you use it or have a heavy soapy lather built up on top of it. 5. Lastly, the thing only has built-in batteries. Unfortunate for something like this which could last years, once the battery dies you have no choice to toss it... more e-waste.Conclusion: Good for scrubbing pots and pans - big stuff. However not really designed for everyday dishware
