Amazon Ethernet Adaptor for Fire TV

I bought this Ethernet adapter for my Fire TV because Wi-Fi wasn’t always reliable, and it has made a huge difference. Setup couldn’t be easier: just plug it into the Fire TV and connect your Ethernet cable. It was working in under a minute with no extra steps. Performance is excellent. The wired connection is noticeably faster and completely stable compared to Wi-Fi. Streaming in 4K is now smooth, with no buffering or random dropouts. Even navigating menus feels quicker and more responsive. The compact design is a bonus — it doesn’t take up much space behind the TV, and it feels well-built. For the price, it’s a simple upgrade that fixes one of the most common frustrations with streaming devices. Has stopped the dreaded shutting and buffing that I used to get streaming via Plex, simple to set up. Update:- still performing very well, so good have brought another for a different location, well worth the price for a good steady streaming experience.

Really straightforward to fit. Completely solved issues i was having with tv shows buffering. Don't think ive experienced any buffering since its been installed. Worth the money if you are having similar issues

I have bad WiFi signal around the house (thick walls, lots of steel joists) so this ethernet adaptor for my Firestick was a godsend. I use it combined with a Western Digital Livewire Powerline home intranet system. It was very easy to install and the reaction speed, loading time and picture quality on my Firestick was transformed. This seemed like the best £16 I'd spent in a long time. That was in early August. A month later the Firestick said it could not find any signal and the Network setting showed it was not connected to the internet. I swapped back to using WiFi and it worked (slowly). I changed the CAT-5E cable, I checked to see if other units running of the WD Livewire system were working (they were) ... so I had to conclude that the ethernet adaptor had broken after only a month. I ordered a second ethernet adaptor and it has just arrived. I plugged it in, switched off the WiFi signal, and the wired network started working straight away. So it was a duff adaptor. This is a great bit of kit, and really good value for someone in my position, but it needs to be able to last longer than a month. I just have every finger crossed that my first adaptor was a one-off bad unit, and this second one will last a year or two, at least.
