Worked Perfectly, installation was easy, increased my storage capacity by adding a second 512GB drive, very good value for money spent, speed of drive is very good when tested with CrystalDiskMark - I found the speed to be within manufacturer's specifications. I installed the 512GB m.2 drive in my 2in1 7390 Dell Latitude's PCIe WWAN port. So the 128GB to 256GB limit is NOT true. I will be testing a 1TB drive soon enough and will report back. For now I partitioned my primary 1TB SK Hynix Gold m.2 into two partitions and copied the system installation to the spare drive as a permanent backup and can use VM for almost perfect security. I am very happy with this purchase and will come back with the make and model of the secondary drive I used for anyone wanting that information.

My kid has a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming laptop that has a 512 GB NVMe SSD in the standard 2280 form factor as stock. There is a second M.2 slot that’s set for the far less common 2242 form factor. I mistakenly assumed Lenovo also included a hole in the motherboard to allow installation of a 2230 drive, but that wasn’t the case. As such, I needed this adapter to convert the spare 2230 SSD into one that would accommodate the 2242 slot. It’s worked absolutely perfectly so far. The upgraded drive fit snugly in the extension, was detected immediately by Windows, and there’s been no observable difference in performance.

This works perfectly for my needs! I've seen no speed difference or transfer errors at all. I installed this in the M.2 slot on the back of my motherboard so I wouldn't have to dismantle so much of my machine in the future. Only thing I had to was cad a bracket, 3d print it and install. Great product! Would definitely buy again if needed.

Works in T480, but make sure you're using a Gen3 NVME drive. Gen4 does not seem to work.

Pin-to-pin adapter, doesn't work for a SN740 in the T480's WWAN slot. Works fine to fit in a desktop though.

I plugged this into my motherboard's primary M.2 port, then plugged a Samsung 9100 Pro 2 TB drive (M Key NVMe) into it. My computer never recognized the drive! But when I plugged the drive directly into the motherboard, it booted right up!

This adapter fit perfectly in the Legion Go and allowed me to upgrade the storage from my 2242 1TB up to a 2280 4TB. Now between the 4TB SSD and 1 TB microSD, I don't have to worry about my changing mood on which games I'm feeling at a time. Just note that most likely, you will have to shave down some protrusions on the backplate of the Legion Go to fit the 2280.

Works exactly as intended and was well packaged. Fits in the legion go pretty well allows you to use a 2280 SSD card.

Amazing. Very good as replacements. You can break them off to match the NVME b or m key SSD to be able to fit the length needed. Got me out of a hole basically as I was stuck when I got some mini m.2 SSDs.
