Love the color coding! Nice thick coating of paintBetter to have these and adjustable weight dumbbells than to keep a full array of handweights. With an injury and doing light weights for PT, it helps to be able to increment the weight finely. I tested them on my little scale, the weights are quite accurate, too.If anything, I would suggest that the seller give an optional set with four of each selected weight, as I needed two sets in order to make incremental changes to the two dumbbells. My preference would’ve been a set of four 1/2 lb & 1 lb weights.

A little bit of a tight fit on some of my equipment, but as I use them they slide right on and off...thick paint I guess. They are what they are and they do the job. Great for lifts where I can't make progress because adding an extra 5-10 lbs. was just too much. Now at 1 lb. at a time (4 of the .25), I'm sticking to some sort of progressive overload without having to mess with my reps or sets. Keeps my tracking of progress completely uniform and allows me to progress past my plateaus at a much slower pace.

Exactly what I was looking for to increase my hand weights slowly. Good quality construction, no burrs. I would advise my friends to buy these if they were looking for this kind of product.

They serve the intended purpose very well, there are times one needs or wants to increase the weight of a bar by 1/2 to 2 pounds and these plates serve that purpose perfectly.

I needed this set to microload my mace and club set. The mace set loaded to 15 lbs, was actually 15.6, but I needed the mace to be 7.5kg. Add the 1lb plate, now I’m at 7.55 kg on the calibrated scale. These Micro Gainz plates are fantastically accurate, calibrated and the perfect size for the mace. Plus, made in USA.

I didn’t know these tiny weight plates existed, but I’m so glad I found these. The lowest weight plate I had was 1.25lb, which I thought would be sufficient for everything. However, for certain dumbbell exercises, even a 1.25lb increase can be too much at a time. The 0.25lb-1lb weight pairs are perfect incremental increases for dumbbell raises, skullcrushers, tricep kickbacks, etc. These also come with a handy carrying bag (total weight of this set is 5lbs) which makes these super portable. Great set!

Some of the 1 inch weights center holes were too small to fit on a 1 inch standard bar.

Exactly what I needed. I think they could be a bit cheaper but they’re well made and accurate. I weighed every plate and they’re all within a gram or two. If you’ve hit a plateau these are great.

I love these little weights, they are the perfect addition to my home gym. I often have a hard time increasing weight by 2.5 - 5 lbs, especially for arm exercises. These help me continually progress and grow!They are great quality and I love the little bag they come in. The only thing that would make they slightly better is if they had colour markings to distinguish the sets of weight. The weight is on them, but it would just make it quicker to find, nothing serious!I will be looking into the ones to add to dumbbells as well!

Excellent quality. Nicely branded, good presentation. Very accurate weights. Fits standard 1inch bars only. If you're using the average cast standard weight plates make sure you use the same plates each time as those plates tend to differ to their marked weight or weight of other brands. This would compromise the use of micro plates from one weight session to the other. This is why micro plates are more suitable and generally made for Olympic plates. Or slide on micro plates for fixed weight bars.You can use 1/2kg plates or extra collars (approx 1/4kg) or short chains (weighed) for micro gains on standard bars. Micro plates are just more convenient and refined.
