In the end we didn’t use these when we bought them for a recent holiday. However, was really impressed with the quality and fit of these when they arrived so decided to keep them for future use. Probably won’t need to use the regularly, but in the event we do they slip really easily over boots and shoes - therefore giving extra stability in icy conditions. Definitely a better to have it and not always need it rather than need it and not have it kind of order!

Makes walking in icy conditions easy and gives confidence. However, despite being apparently tight round the shoes, one of them did slipped off once, and I had to retrace my steps to find them. Maybe I didn't put them on properly in the first place, but I did seem to.

Work really well, was able to walk up a hill that was fully iced overTried others and none have worked as well as these, can grip easily and fit well over the shoe

I used to use the stud variety of grippers,but they were so unriable ( due to studs falling out from walking ) so I got a set of Yaktrax and I've never looked back I even got sets for Family too.Although they are dearer than the crappy stud versions, they work out cheaper in the long run as they'll last longer.You get complete confidence even on the worst sections of ice Highly recommend Yaktrax.

Great for compact snow/ icy footpaths. Gives you a sense of security and sure footedness in these type of conditions. Easy to put on and stayed put once on. Wore them over both boots and shoes and they never moved. They are great value for money and I would certainly recommend them.

Infortunately On the first day out lost one already but they are good

I bought these for our recent trip to icy Hokkaido in Japan. They are true to size and fit comfortably on my snow shoes. Walking with them on my shoes on the icy roads of Sapporo city was easy, and they have very good grips. I encountered many people falling on the icy road, and was so glad I got these from Amazon before our trip. Highly recommended!!

Bought these for my wife to use while walking the dog in winter.Seemed good on icy pavements but she cut down a slightly muddy footpath and these disappeared off without her noticing - despite the fact that they had needed some considerable effort to fit on to her boots and had seemed very secure.So sadly a low value for money rating as they only stayed on for part of one walk...
