I really like this filing cabinet. The build quality is quite soilid and it works really well. The fit and finish was perfect. The parts lined up correctly and all the holes were drilled in the right spots. It does take considerable time to assemble because there are a lot of metal parts that need to be screwed together. Do not try assembling this item while drunk or high. Also, If you are an idiot and do not possess the ability to read technical papers and understand schemtic diagrams, then you should probably hire your next door neighbor's teen-ager to assemble this for for you.

I was pretty excited to receive this equipment since I have many documents that need to be filed away neatly. The packaging was pretty good, so I will give them that. However, the instruction manual is not the greatest. It takes time to decipher what the pictures are saying and where what goes and in what direction it goes in or on. Had to use the video in conjunction with the manual just to piece things together as the steps get increasingly more confusing as you get closer to the finish line. The metal itself is alright, it's not anything to write home about. For the price point I would have expected something much sturdier but it's malleable enough that if I wanted to, I could easily bend it. Once it's all put together though it does become a little sturdier, but buyer beware. Now for the most absolutely frustrating part. After spending two hours putting this together, I go to put the drawers in, and they don't close all the way. I try every drawer, pick it all apart, put it back together again, loosen screws, straighten it all out and it still refuses to close. Gets in about 3/4 of the way and then jams every single time with every drawer. Needless to say, I wasted two hours of my life assembling and another hour disassembling it. Maybe my product is defective, I don't know but for the price point of spending near two hundred dollars I would have expected better. Buyer beware, for me this is absolute junk since it doesn't work as intended.

This filing cabinet is perfect! It is sturdy, well-built, and seems to be high quality. The drawers smooth when pulling out and pushing back in. The top lock works for all 4 drawers. Putting it together was surprisingly a breeze. It came with detailed instructions that were very clear and super easy to follow. All of the parts were labeled and corresponded to the pictures in the instructions. It even comes with a screwdriver the fits the screw heads perfectly and soft hammer. I have bought a lot of things over the years that I need to put together and more often than not I am left to trying to figure out which part is which and trying to interpret pictures that don't make sense. But everything went super smooth when putting this together.

Best to have a support near. In installation, slightly bent back corner. Works good though

The file cabinet to very nice looking and sturdy. It is doable but takes time and patience to assemble. We were very disappointed after all that work to find out the locking mechanism did not work. We then had to completely disassemble in order to return it. It wasn't worth it!

It took 4 hands and a flashlight to be able to get the many screws installed. The instructions were graphic and not clear. Many pieces were mis-numbered. Very awkward to assemble properly due to poor graphic depictions. Another vendor would be a better place to buy an assembled cabinet. It feels flimsy even when assembled as correctly as we could figure out. Four pieces were left and had no identification or location on the drawings.

I bought it for my house files and stuff, and i am pretty satisfied. It was easy to set up and came with all the stuff needed. Quiet heavy so u would need a couple of people to set it up. Really loved the quality and color too is Matt as i wanted. The channels are good and make sliding easy while opening and closing. Loved it overall. Good product for your home office area.
