Gas Regulator Calor Butane 29 Mbar (Screw in) LR2108

If you are a woman and have average hand strength, you may struggle as i did to get the rubber tube over the edge of the inlet. Luckily i had a friend around to do this for me, otherwise my camping trip would have had a lot of cold soup for dinner.I hadn't realised that gas for this adapter needs the big gas tanks. For the smallest of these, you have to pay a £30 deposit for the tank, then pay for the gas on top of that (£20 where i was in cornwall).Just bear that in mind if you only want irregular camping trips for short periods.

this is a an item that one can not really comment on except to say it is what I needed and had a sensible price tag so I purchased it and would do so again should the need arise so if this is the type of regulator that you need then I would buy one from this seller as the price is good and I can not find any faults with the item so would give it the thumbs up . Screws on and off calor cylinder in seconds (with gas spanner) and works as expected.Was easy to fit to hose I already had.

I thought I had lost our spare regulator and bought this. Having found the original and compared the two it is obvious that the newer one is made down to a price rather than up to a quality.Handy to have as a spare in the caravan as you never know when regulators will fail (usually when you are overseas and there is nowhere to buy a replacement).

This item arrived, brand new, in box. After reading the guidance it is to be noted that these units have a life expectancy of 10 years. Since the item was manufactured in 2010 I only have 9 years left of use. A small point but one worth noting.

Bought this regulator to go with the new gas BBQ which I also purchased from Amazon. Easy to fit and similar to the one used on the caravan. Was able to buy a second small gas bottle locally which I use for the BBQ. Recommend.

Ordered this to connect the gas bottle to the gas appliance. There are quite a few highly priced regulators and I took a chance get the cheapest one I could find. Did the same job and just as secure as the expensive models.

Not the regulator which was advertised but still appears to do the job, except that the burner "blows" a bit on full (but this may be because we have a full calor cylinder), this problem is easily overcome by turning the burner down slightly. For the price a very good buy.
