Brilliant toy
Brilliant robust toy. 1 year old and 4 year old can play with these together and we extend play by using the pieces round the house finding metal things to connect to. They seem expensive and you need to purchase other sets to add on but all in all considering the play time, learning how magnets work, children love them and the fact that they are pretty indestructible, they're well worth it.

Big and Brilliant!
Bought this as a gift for my 4yo. There is a Smart Max set in his Play School and talks very often about how much he enjoys it. It is excellent! Would highly recommend for any young child that likes to build things.

Birthday present for granddaughter.
Bought this for my granddaughter's first birthday, and she loves it. Interestingly her 4 year old brother loves it too, and they both spend hours playing with it. Kids should learn about magnetism, but with small children, swallowing them is a great danger. This is the perfect compromise.
