ABSOLUTELY SUPERB VALUE MOR MONEY. EXCELLENT QUALITY
Absolutely superb. I fish and tournament cast with zziplex and century rods (and have cast 280yds+). Been fishing 50+ yrs. Bought one of these (50 size) for my 14 yr old for feathering mackeral on a 10ft salmon spinning rod, (didn't want to pay expensive just for that). I usually use an Abu baitcaster for my spinning... bought another one of these for light spinning/sea float fishing for myself 5 minutes after I opened the box. For the money - superb. Any bad reviews MUST be people manhandling them. Feel as strong and as smooth running as any fixed spool reel of this size I've ever used. Excellent.

Powerhouse.
Awesome little.reel for the money, played a 14lb carp with this on 6lb line (took a while). Very smooth and the drag is brilliant.

The reel is fine
It was too small for my needs, the spool is very narrow, I re-spooled my line three times, got 5 wind knots every time I used it. This stuff is strong but I also didn't get the high Vis version. Just a lot of small things not working together for my setup.

Suprise quality
For £23 wasnt expecting a reel this good .will be buying another one shortly for light shore fishing for mackerel .Abu make great reels still have two 506 s and wouldnt part with them Coxfish

New toy for keen fisherman
Him indoors was delighted with his new toy. I do not know all the specifics but he was pleased with price delivery quality and getting excited to catch fish.

Faulty Anti Reverse Switch
Unfortunately now had two of these reels that both have had the same fault. The anti reverse switch either arrived broken or broke after one use. Seems like this Abu Garcia reel has a bad engineering fault in the anti reverse switch. Shame as Abu Garcia have for me been a reliable reel...unfortunately not this one!

Cheap and plastic
Cheap looking, cheap feeling, plastic feels weak, reel spools unevenly. Save your money and get something better - even at the discounted price it just isn’t worth the money.
