Just used for first time...I think this is a great product..as long as you read the instructions...it's meant to be used on 80% dry hair..I kept it on the lowest temperature and that was hot enough for my short style. Combined with a short spurt with my dryer then this after I styled my hair in no time at all pre-work...very important for work days. Very pleased with the results.

Easy to use like the release button on it . You do have to really push the brush on really hard to click into place .once in place item works fine .

I bought this styler because I already own the Tresemme blowdryer and straightener, and I've had no complaints with either. This was a good price, and I was told its easier to use than a blowdryer. First, the positives: 1. Its compact and space saving 2. It is easier and quicker than a hair dryer 3. It gave reasonably good results Now the negatives: 1. It doesnt come with a carry pouch like the straightener, which means its a pain to store, since it has 3 different attachments, and I like to store them all together with the styler to avoid losing them. 2. The cord is puny, and doesnt go far at all, which is a pain. 3. Putting the attachments on the styler isnt very straightforward, and twice during the styling process the curling attachment came off and had to be put back on. Once you know the trick its fine, its just a bit fiddly. 4. The low heat setting is utterly useless. I have fine hair, so it shouldve been sufficient, but I had to switch to high heat, which I'd been trying to avoid. Overall I'd say that because I didnt have to pay much for it, I dont mind keeping it, and it will come in handy when I'm in a hurry. However, had I paid a higher price for this item, I would consider sending it back because of all the flaws. I expected more from Tresemme having already used their products. UPDATE AFTER FURTHER USE: I am even more disappointed with this product than during first use. It takes forever to heat up, which means the first 2-3 strands you do dont look so good, and you have to go through them again once the machine has heated up. If like me you turn the machine off when you put it down (to unclip further strands and move 'done' strands out of the way), then you are in for further frustration, because every time it is switched off, it cools down so rapidly that, upon turning on, it (yet again) takes forever to heat up. The cool setting is barely cool at all, so your flyaways remain flying, thus requiring more product to finish the job. Honestly, I am shocked that this is a Tresemme product, and the only use I can see for this is when Im away on holiday because it is more compact to travel with than my hair dryer. I wish I'd bought Braun like the one my sister has, its much more powerful and effective. Lesson learned.

Great for short hair and to travel with

The brush was fine for a few weeks, then, whilst drying my hair, the brush partially detached, and sat at an angle. The attachment had never been changed I had used the same one all the time. I replaced the brush and carried on, the brush came off again, and fell onto my neck causing a minor burn, which fortunately healed within a few days with the application of burn cream. . I contacted Tresemme, as per Amazon instructions, and was asked various questions, which dragged things out for a few days. After answering all their questions, I was told they wanted nothing to do with it, and to go and contact Conair, who manufacture the item. I got back a list of all the same questions I had already answered, despite providing a case number from Tresemme, guess they could not be bothered looking at the information already provided. They wanted me to send back the item for "inspection by an engineer" before they would tell me how they would resolve the issue, but after looking at the feedback on here, it seems to be a common problem, and I would imagine one they are already aware of. The questions asked were not even relevant to the fault reported, just seem to be designed to waste my time and make me give up. It was not an expensive item, but it is unsafe, and I wanted this brought to their attention, as the item should not be sold in it's current state. I have contacted Amazon and they will refund once it is returned.
