Hammering steal tents pegs into hard ground with this is easy.

Though it is advertised as a camping rubber mallet, I took a gamble and bought it as it needed something similar to use in the garden to help with patio path laying. Worked like a treat but I was not hammering on the slabs directly, i used a piece of wood in between as hitting directly on hard surfaces will damage the rubber permanently. I bought it because it looked sturdy and the handle seemed really good in the pictures. Not disappointed. Based on my experience I am sure it will work great for what it was advertised for.

This is a heavy strong mallet. The rubber is quite firm, and the handle feels strong. I didn't feel like there was going to be any problems with the handle hitting hard.If you catch a bit of metal etc when you hit something it can take a little chunk out of the rubber, something to keep in mind.I am happy with this purchase.

Good heavy rubber hammer, solid and sturdy, feels good in the hand, the fibreglass shaft also feels good and well made, i used this to tap down sand stone slabs so as not to damage them and it did the job, would buy again but wont have to as this will last a long time. Well made.

Absolutely stinks of some kind of rubbery chemicals, even after being left outside for several days. Used once and so far so good, it's a good weight so hammers pegs into hard ground well. I will update if it falls apart.
