Magnum Solace Magnesium Lotion is a smooth, quickly absorbed emulsion of magnesium chloride in a skin-nourishing base of certified organic oils. Rich in plant moisturizers, this lotion soothes and hydrates without leaving your skin feeling waxy or greasy. It is fragrance-free and contains 250 mg elemental magnesium per tsp (5 ml).

Ingredients: Purified Water (Aqua), Magnesium Chloride, Emulsifying Wax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Organic Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Gel, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Organic Simmondsia Chinesis (Jojoba) Oil, Organic Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil, Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunfower) Oil, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Panthenol (Vitamin B5).

Does this enter bloodstream or go beyond muscles? maximum magnesium rda is 320 mg. this is 250 mg, so food or multivitamin would exceed that limit.

I would not worry about the RDA for magnesium; there is no way that amount would be sufficient for me. I have been taking 600-800 mg of mag glycinate and it is barely effective to help my sleep as I still wake up several times a night. My functional medicine practitioner recommended I take 600mg per day several years ago. I don’t find the various oral forms that are combined with different elements such as glycinate are giving me what I need. I have heard from another doctor that the topical is much more effective. An active  person like me who gets exercise everyday uses up the magnesium faster it seems. I think a person could use 2 tsp of this product without fear of getting too much. Just my opinion from my experience with magnesium. But do your own research. RDA amounts are in some cases pretty low. Magnesium is one of those minerals that is absolutely essential to get daily.

not sure on the bloating since it's lotion...my husband has been having leg swelling and cramps and it has really helped him....TKS...!!!
