Wer gern am Abend mal einen Bourbon geniesst und die Abwechslung liebt, der ist bei diesem Buch ganz richtig. Es enthält Rezepte die mich einfachen Mitteln nachzubauen sind, ohne dass man gleich eine ganze Batterie von Zubehör zu Hause haben muss. Mir gefallen keine Rezepte wo ich erst einmal im Laden alles mögliche einkaufen muss. Das schließt natürlich nicht aus, dass mal eine Kleinigkeit fehlt. Mit diesem Buch kann man auch mal spontan einen Besuch überraschen und ein schönes Getränk servieren.

Great book with great recipes. Easy straightforward recipes that anyone can follow. If you like bourbon and you like bourbon cocktails this is the book for you. Would definitely give as a gift.

This book has several one and two pages histories on the bourbon industry in general, and more specific histories of distilleries. The cocktail recipes include the backgrounds on those recipes. That makes this book particularly delightful.

I got this book for the hubs for Christmas and he LOVES it! It really is a beautiful book and provides a great deal of info on bourbon, where it’s made, etc. He’s already tried several of the recipes and has been very pleased with them. His only complaint is that there are no recipes that include chocolate bitters, which he’s really interested in trying. Other than that, he absolutely loves it!

Great recipe book and gives good history of bourbon and the ingredients needed for the cocktails. It even has recipes for syrups and ingredients needed to make the cocktails, so I don't have to run to the store all the time. Am able to serve classy cocktails to my friends when they visit and they all rave about how great the drinks are. Definitely recommend this book if you want to get into bourbon mixed drinks.
