It worked GREAT for me!!
Received this item yesterday. It has already earned it's value. It is easy to use. It reads codes just fine. I had a "braking" code that needed to be addressed. It functions great. I'm no mechanic but I do have a general idea, plus, if you don't know exactly what the code means, you can google it. The battery reader was great. I tried it on a battery that I assumed was bad, then tried it on a battery that I knew was good. It showed that the battery was receiving a charge, but the Cold Cranking Amps were way to low, hence, the hesitency when starting. I am definitely satisfied and would recommend this product. Side Note. Like most cars, my battery is on the passenger side of my truck. So when doing the Crank test, because I have to engage the break for the push start, I had to run around the vehicle. Also, when it ask you to hold the RPM's at 2500 for 10 seconds. That is the only time I wish I had someone helping me. Not so much a con, but definitely something to think about.

I don't know how I did without this little Gem!
It is almost intuitive and gives a lot of information on your vehicle - a lot more than I even expected. It is going to ride in my truck with me in case I get any more of those scary error codes. I purchased an additional 10' cord for mine so I could check under hood while still in driver's seat. That is extremely useful to perform additional tests by following the instructions to complete the tests.

Peace of Mind
I tested the battery on my 2022 F150 Hybrid after I received a start up notice of Service Charging System. Found the battery to be only at 60% charge and in Good condition. I don't drive far so I'm trickle charging overnight. I will give an update on further findings after charging the battery and testing the alternator. It was simple to use, but you have to have some patience when setting it up, enter the type of battery and the Cold Cranking amps. If you are a novice and don't know where your hood release is inside the vehicle, don't bother buying it and go to your local mechanic. It is also best to familiarize yourself with the tester and read the manual.
