The best strings I have used to date.My current violin still has fine tuning adjusters on all strings, and despite the g and d strings being a loop rather than ball end, I have managed to use them with the fine tuners.They make a beautiful, strong and warm sound. Totally recommend them.

I have bought these strings on several occasions before and have always enjoyed playing on them. However, after fitting this last set, the strings kept slipping out of tune much more than they have with previous purchases. Additionally, around 6 weeks after purchase, the G string snapped. I messaged the seller to find out if there was an issue with the batch two weeks ago and have not heard back.When purchasing high end strings, as a professional musician, I expect a great deal more than this (I've never had a string snap after such a short period before, particularly as I wasn't playing much over the summer so it wasn't worn at all). I will probably not buy these strings again and certainly won't be using this seller.

if you want gut strings these are great but have been irritated (as always with natural strings that it takes a month or so for them to stretch properly.surprised/disappointed these no longer come in the long tube but instead in packets...

Disappointed to find that the E string is aluminium. No gut at all, unfortunately I didn't put this string on first so I'm stuck with the set. At first I thought I'm not used to buying premium strings, I'm not a professional, I must have been mistaken to expect them all to be gut cores.The others are gut so I'll see how I go with those. Anyone know how I contact the seller to see if this is a mistake?
