Love the designs & the paper
I love what they have to color and the thick paper, makes a big difference than the cheaper paper. I’m setting more!

Quality coloring book...one of my favorite
This is really a fun coloring book, albeit a bit pricey. Flip through it, and you will find birds, bees, butterflies, bears, deer, squirrels, rabbits, flowers galore, lots of leaves and a couple of neat cottages. Oh yes, there is even a rather complex detailed eagle with wide-spread wings sitting atop a worn old tree. The background allows for water colors and the feathers and gnarled wood would welcome gel pens. The pages are printer paper size, and the spiral binding extends the book size to 8.5 x11¼ with just a smidge over ½ inch in thickness. I like the construction because it makes for comfort when coloring. The spiral binding makes for ease in coloring. No more fighting to keep the book open. I usually find several pages in a coloring book that do not appeal to me enough to even consider coloring. That is not the case in this one. I plan to color every single one.KUDOS:1. One to a page hand drawn illustrations that are suitable for framing that can make a nice gift, an added bit of color to a home office, kitchen, family room or child’s room.2. Variety of illustrations ranging from easy to medium intricate. A few of the designs have large enough spaces that work really well for wet medium such as water color. That is something that is not found in most coloring books unless they are designed specifically for the purpose. The cover illustration is included with a slight modification. The hummingbird is larger on the coloring page.3. Clearly defined lines that do not leave the colorist wondering what an object is.4. No bleed-through. I experimented with colored pencils, water color pencils with wet brushes and gel pens. I had no problem with any. The back side of the illustration rippled when water colors were used; however, it was smooth again when dry. Nice!5. Heavy front and back covers provide support so one can still color even if a hard surface is not available. It’s a cinch for lap coloring!6. Well-constructed with spiral binding and micro-perforated pages7. Blotter page included8. Heavy, very smooth, white paper. My Colore pencils did really well, and my Color Technik glitter pens loved it. My Prismacolor pencils glided on smoothly; however, they did not blend too well.9. Includes on-line link for download of 10 printable free PDF images. Nice bonus.10. Printed in U.S.A.GRUMPS:1. Because the paper is very smooth, (almost no tooth) colored pencils glide easily; however, hard core pencils do not work really well because they do not leave much color on the paper. If one is really determined lots of pressure can be applied to yield more color. My Marco watercolor pencils went on light when dry; however, the color became bright when I added water.2. Some designs fill the entire page and fall off the edge of the paper.Tools I used:Colored Pencils: Prismacolor Premier, Marco Renoir, Colore, Marco Raffine (Aquarelle) Watercolor.Gel Pens: Color Technik Glitter, Lolliz

Colorit is the BEST
I love this coloring book! I wish Colorit would come out with some different subjects, other than mandalas and such. I would love a book for every season. Their paper and spiral notebooks make coloring a joy. I have about 6 of this brand now and I am addicted! I prefer the more detailed books over the "easy" ones too. If you haven't tried a Colorit book, you are missing out. They are pricey but worth every penny and chock full of pages. My glitter pens and neon gels look awesome on this paper, and so do my glittery acrylic markers. They do not bleed through the paper at all either.

Best coloring book from Amazon
Wow, I love this coloring book!! The designs are so cute, but can be a bit repetitive. The pages are nice and thick as well as one sided so you don’t have to worry about bleeding. This type of book is really good for gel pens and small markers! It took forever to ship even though I have Amazon prime, almost a month. But other than that I would say this is the best coloring book I’ve gotten from Amazon. 7/10.

Best Books Ever!!!
These are the best adult coloring books I’ve encountered is wide variety of pictures. I started off with the best of book just to try them out. I have rarely encountered coloring books that are card, stock, paper, and one-sided pictures. I was hesitant at first because of the price but it’s well worth it. There are some books. I am dying to get my hands on but have been out of stock working my way through this one and trying to decide which my next book will be, I recently started working with gel pens ❤️Gelly roll, so fun and so relaxing. Time flies by I don’t even notice it when I’m coloring. Im a schizophrenic. It was recommended to try art as a way to relax my mind before this the only thing that worked with TV. I am not great at drawing so the coloring books are awesome and I’m learning how to work with different mediums. Maybe someday come up with my own pictures but for now thank you color it. I can’t wait till I can afford more books 📚

Beautifully drawn
The covers, top spiral binding and heavy paper pages are top quality. The pictures are beautifully drawn if not as fine and detailed as i wanted. I should have looked more closely at the pictures but that's my mistake. The artwork is clearly professional and very well done.I would highly recommend this product for those who like larger areas to color and blend and less small details.Exceptional for gel pens. Smooth surfaces blend both pens and pencils easily and subtly.I don't use markers or paints. The paper surfaces do not hold up well to even small erasures. It roughens quickly but that makes it excellent for texturing.Lovely, relaxing pictures and excellent quality make this a good product. Price is a bit steep overall for mature colorists who want more detail.Great product, bit pricey but still would recommend.
