Self tanning expert weighing in here! I am loyal to this brand. It’s the same brand my professional spray tanner in Nashville has used for more than a decade. I find it to be the most pleasantly scented tanning product hands down!!! This was my first time trying this particular formula. It’s a bit more of deeper golden tan. The foam is tinted with a green base. I was previously using the formula with the violet purple base. For reference my skin tone is light with neutral undertones. I have green eyes and light brown hair. I think I prefer the purple base but this one is darker and might have better longevity. It seems to hang on much longer. I also find that norvell products wear off very evenly. There’s a reason it’s the product of choice for many spray tanning salons. FYI if you look online Norvell posts a handy chart that helps you decide which color will work best for your skin tone.

This is the best self tanner I have tried! Doesn’t leave you with an orange tone and smooths out really well.

This tanner is wonderful! No orange color and it’s the only one that actually smells amazing! I have sensitive skin and it also does not make me itchy. Great product!

I usually use St.Moriz self tanning mousse but decided to try something different so I bought this. This goes on very smoothly and smells sweet unlike many other self tanners. Amber is a very good word to describe this color. I was surprised at how light it was since I'm very used to having the dark guide color of the St.Moriz so it was a little difficult to make sure it was going on right. I have an olive complexion to begin with which is why it seemed light to me but if you are very pale this would be a good color for you. The sweet smell eventually goes away and you do get a bit of that self tanner smell but it goes away quickly. I use two layers and it gives me a beautiful glowing tan and I have no streaks. Unfortunately it doesnt hold up too well in the shower and I would say about 60% washes off which was kind of disappointing but I would definitely repurchase this. I may choose a darker color next time though

I’m a self tanner and I love this product. It applies smoothly with a tanning mitt. I love the color it leaves on my skin. I wish it came in a bigger size. I use a gentle body wash, which makes my tan lasts longer. I haven’t seen my tan flake or spot off when the tan wears off. I recommend to always use exfoliating gloves, or body exfoliating rag on your body in the shower before you apply your next self tanner.

I had high hopes for this product, as I’ve read all over that a lot of professional spray tan businesses use this brand. Maybe they use a different solution or the spray version works better. My legs were still pale and my arms were just slightly darker when I woke up the next morning after sleeping the whole night with this mousse on my skin. And I’ve been using self tanners for about 15 years now and take all the proper steps for ultimate results. I’ve used other self tanners that were a lot cheaper and worked better. Don’t waste your money on this.
