The taste is quite bitter, but I’m willing to see past it if they work! The suggested dose of 2 tablets twice a day means a bottle last just one week. Only time will tell whether they’re effective but I’m a big fan of pukka herbs and their quality and will continue to purchase these. Bigger bottles would be more convenient!

On the bottle it says 500mg per capsule, and on the cardboard packaging it says 'Botanical facts per serving (2 capsules) 10mg. I don't understand these figures, could Pukka explain?From Amazon customer

Andrographis is a herb, grown in India, which is reputed to help with "seasonal wellbeing". I'm a fan of Pukka's teas and other products, as they're a high-quality brand. But I would have liked a bit more information about andrographis on the pack: it says to take at the first signs of a seasonal illness. As far as I can find out online, it's traditionally used as a cold and flu remedy. But it doesn't say whether it's a supplement that you should take regularly to boost immunity through the winter months, or whether you should only use it when you're actually sick. I tried taking it during a recent cold and can't say I noticed much difference, but perhaps it needs to be taken more consistently. It's a good thing to have in the medicine cabinet anyway, but I do think that an information leaflet inside the pack would be helpful.

A great herb I'd never heard of until a friend told me it's good for chest problems.. Infections, persistant coughs etc.Very useful in the winter time.
