Chell Clear Contact Paper Roll for Books, 17.5 in x 5 ft Clear Self Adhesive Book Cover Paper Protector

i used this clear contact paper to cover a protest sign. before finding this, i used regular packing tape and would just do strips of it in order to keep the sign "laminated" and keep it from getting wet or damaged. this was very easy to apply to the entire sign all at once and it looks clear and nice on the sign. i found it was easiest to peel it back as i smoothed it on and used the side of a ruler to really smooth it down flat and there were no air bubbles and i didn't risk it sticking to itself. it stuck down well and looks great!

I bought this clear contact paper roll primarily for toddler craft projects, and it’s worked exactly how I needed it to. The roll format makes it easy to cut whatever size or shape I need, whether that’s for simple sticky art projects, covering artwork, or making little window crafts. It’s clear enough that you don’t lose visibility of what’s underneath. The adhesive is strong enough to hold paper, leaves, nature and small craft materials in place, but it’s still manageable to work with. It doesn’t feel overly flimsy, and it hasn’t torn easily while I’m cutting or peeling it. For basic craft use, especially with kids, this is a simple and practical option to keep on hand.

OK but I did have some wrinkles and it was not removeable/repositionable on a paperback cover. Was clear, doesn't look bad and will serve the purpose, but I would not recommend for old, brittle books because you need to flatten the cover to apply. Puts too much stress on the spine.

Great for Protecting Kids’ Projects! Works great to coat my son’s storybook. It’s very easy to apply and sticks well. A bit hard to trim with scissors, but super easy to cut with a craft knife.

This is a good contact paper! Nice quality and easy to use with a good amount of stickiness.

I got this to cover the outside of my Disney coloring books and its doing great so far!

It is a good product.can cover 7 small size books.Not easy to use. You should aware of how to handle this, otherwise it remain air bubbles.

Product is not as shown. Very thin and already bubbles will there due to roll. I don't personally feel that you can peel off paper. And side flanges user has to cut and little difficult.and there is no reference to peel and this becomes an issue while covering a4 sized books. Seller has to both improve quality and resolve shortcomings. Quality is not good and so not a value for money and difficult to use and is very thin and while peeling you may see plastic in peeled paper.and due to thin nature and bubbles durability is less. And naturally adhesive quality becomes weak due to air bubbles.

quantity is not enough for more than six books.but quality wise its worth for money. it looks good on books , very transperant and beutiful. sticks firmly to covers.

First of all, there are no gridlines as shown in the photographs. It's just plain self adhesivd plastic. Fairly easy to apply. It sticks well only if you keep big margins. The last piece is always difficult to apply because for some reason, it's always crumpled ing the innermost part of the roll, causing lots of wrinkling on the book you're wrapping. You can't push out the bubbles if it's the end piece. That being said, the middle pieces wrap the book very nicely. The book ends up looking like that's just the way it was manufactured, instead of looking like it was wrapped in plastic. I think it's pretty expensive because I could only wrap about ten books with two rolls. As for longevity, I'll have to update this post in the middle of the school year.
