The video goes into much more detail, including a full overview and a demonstration of how it works.However, in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Very solid tool - reassuringly heavy.+ Easy to use - couldn't be easier, in fact.+ Effective.Things I didn't like:- Maybe a few ferrules could be included? I'm nit-picking, really. You can pick them up fairly cheapy (these were the best value ones I found when I bought some: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09YTRWQCZ )Do I recommend it?Absolutely. It's a good, solid tool. At £19, it's not cheap but it is around par for the course with this kind of tool, so pretty decent value too.

Really well made, does the job
Well made, good grip and works really well.Feels really solid and good weight to it. Not had it long but can't see why it wouldn't last long.

I'm not an electrician but I was wiring a garden office. These do help strip the wires but not everytime and not always in the right place.

Like trying to crack a Walnut with tweezers...
The sheer effort required to crimp larger ferrules is not viable with this tool. Cheaply manufactured and in no way comparable to a professional tool, all of the ratcheting movement of the jaws occurs before you reach the highest pressure point of the operation - so at the point you've got to really exert the pressure there is no remaining 'geared down' multiplication of force. You'll need hands like shovels, muscles like Popeye, and tendons of steel. The pair which I got were pretty much useless above 4mm² cabling, in spite of being said to be good for 10mm² cable. I guess you get what you pay for, and these are a cheap set.

Easy to use, perfect results
The span of ferrules dimensions is sufficient for most users, mechanically very good.
