    Smooth application but bad for the skin...

I'm giving this foundation three stars instead of two because I realized I'm probably not the target audience for it. The foundation is marketed as a "lifting" foundation, probably for people who are more into anti-aging products. I'm only twenty-two years old, which may or may not explain why the foundation didn't work very well for me.At first, I really liked this product.The consistency is very creamy without feeling thick and it just glides onto my face, blending well with my complexion and making my skin feel softer and look smoother. Moreover, a half pump is enough to cover my whole face.However, after a few hours, my face gets really oily and by the end of the day, my skin has broken out from using this foundation. I use a clean, new sponge every time I applied the foundation, so I really think it's the foundation that is causing my breakouts.Anyway, I did a quick Google search and found that this foundation contains lavender oil, which is known to be a skin irritant. Go figure.

I don't have any problem with it other than it just never "sunk in " my face - pretty soon my keyboard and phone keys were the color of my makeup.  I didn't realize how often I touch my face!  It rubbed off on my clothes too.  For that reason, I wouldn't get it again, sorry!

For me there is no other that helps my face look as even and soft without being obvious to everybody that I'm wearing a foundation. I use this one at night if I'm going to a party, and the lighter one during the day. This is the best of the best. The Japanese knows about skin care.
