Great item. Fits perfectly in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited. There is some bounce - but I'm driving a Jeep. It holds my phone securely. Easy to put together and adjust to where you want your phone to sit. This the best holder I've had for my Jeep and I will be keeping this one - the others I've tried just can't hold in place with the bumpy ride of a Jeep. If you don't want to attach one to your window, this is the way to go!

Having just installed the phone mount, I can say wjth confidence that the makers of this ohone mount dont have the user or vehicle in kind when producing or designing it. The main take away for anyone looking to buy this phone mount is that the screw it includes to replace the screw that is already in your jeep is thicker and longer than the screw already in the jeep. That means that if you follow the installation instructions and force the included screw into the hole to fasten the mount to the dash, you will be permanently damaging your vehicle. If you intend to remove this mount later and replacing the old screw, the old screw will will no longer hold. For some of you, this might not matter, but I'm a very big believer that a product that does not care to match the size of its only screw to the size of the fastening hole does not care about its product nor its user. If you'd like the ability to uninstall this later and have your vehicle undamaged, you can simply use the original screw anyway. It will just leave a bump under the silicone mat, but its negligible. In addition to that, the quality of the plastic is quite low, but it works as a sturdy part of the dash. I have issues with the very noticeable gaps between the dashboard and the mount, another thing that points to poor quality, but the main thing I bought it for, the phone mount, it works fine. Using the included wrench on the phone mount ball joint produced a sturdy hold that took some force to move around. All things considered, it does the bare minimum which is hold my phone, but thats not a very high bar. It looks cheap, it is cheap, and it doesnt care for how it might permanently damage your vehicle during the installment. The fact that it works with the old screw and manages to do the bare minimum is what earned it 3 stars, but until the things I mentioned are addressed, it wont be deserving of more. Buy with consideration, especially if you dont have a 9/36 inch bolt socket for the original screw in the jeep, since the kit does not include a tool to remove that. If you dont have that, either buy a tool kit, or look for a phone mount similar to this one that includes one.

I've had this phone mount for about 2 years now and it is hands down the best one I've ever purchased. it fits perfectly and doesn't add too much bulk to the dash. the ball joint has never once loosened which has been a problem with every other phone mount ive tried. I would seriously give this product 10 stars if I could. It's a great mount for the price.

I spent a lot of time looking for a phone mount for my 2016 JKU that didn't put my phone in the way of my radio. I specifically like this one, due to the off-center mount arm. I ended up switching the actual phone holder for a magnetic charging mount, both used the ball mount system so it was a seamless swap. Either way you decide to go, this is a good mount for a JKU, I recommend it.

good fit, just wish the ball came off the dash another inch. the extension bounces around too much with the phone in the craddle. easy to install and no rattles
