We installed this double-sided keypad door knob on our front door before May 2024 and after months of daily use, it has exceeded every expectation. It’s honestly one of the best home security purchases we’ve made — so much so that we’re buying another one right now for our back door. Safety was our top priority. We have an autistic child who can sometimes try to leave the house unexpectedly, and this lock has given us real peace of mind. Because it has keypads on both sides, there’s no simple knob to turn and walk out — a code is required — which adds an extra layer of safety while still allowing quick and easy access for adults. It helps prevent wandering while also keeping our home secure from intruders. The build quality is excellent. It feels solid, durable, and well-made — not cheap or flimsy. Installation was straightforward, programming codes was easy, and the keypad is very responsive. We’ve never had issues with it missing inputs or malfunctioning. Ours is installed on the front door and has handled everyday use and weather changes without any problems. The waterproof and weatherproof design really holds up and still looks and works like new. The key-alike dual cylinders are also a great feature, keeping things simple while providing backup key access if ever needed. This lock delivers security, reliability, and peace of mind all in one. The fact that we’re purchasing a second one for our back door says everything. I purchased three of these locks two years ago. I have one on my front security door, one on courtyard gate and one on gate to backyard. I love these locks. They work so well. I can give a unique code to my pool maintenance person, pest control person, or a one-time code to someone who needs access just one time. It's really great to have the double-sided keypad. I keep the interior side unlocked most of the time for ease of use, yet can lock the exterior so that there can be no entry. I live in a very hot climate and these locks have performed well, and do not look weathered. A few weeks ago, one of my locks stopped working, even after changing the batteries. I contacted the company and they had a new lock shipped to me within a few days. Every product is only as good as the company behind it. So, my five-star review is actually for the company behind a really good product. I commend them for their great customer support!!!!

These installed quickly and worked immediately. They have made such a difference in the safety and function of our household. Two of my boys are autistic, and one has tried eloping multiple times. This worked exactly as we hoped and means that we can all breath easier knowing that the boys are safe. This is also a much better alternative to child safety locks we have tried that bolt into the door, because my daughter couldn't reach them to let herself out, and they couldn't be opened from the outside. This is a much safer alternative and is so convenient. I love how the door locks immediately upon closing, so we never have to worry about forgetting to lock it. Plus, we can't get locked out since we all know the combination. They also use normal batteries, so they don't require anything fancy to keep them running, and there are backup keys as well. They were worth every penny, and were affordable enough to get one for every exterior door.

This door knob worked great for locking my home while also preventing my autistic children from being able to elope. I have 3 of these to keep my kids safe! Its started out great so thats why we ended up using this on all 3 exit doors. Unfortunately, 1 door stopped locking. A part inside came loose & we were able to fix it & keep using it. Now a 2nd knob is doing this. We usually have to hit it or knock the part back into place & now it won’t lock on the 1 side at all. I had to reverse the knob so the inside stays locked to protect our children. However part of the time the lock doesn’t want to unlock, so I have to make sure we have a key to get in or remove the batteries to reset the door & force it to unlock. I have 1 working knob & 1 we fixed that is working but I don’t know for how long & a 3rd that only works on 1 side. We haven’t owned these for more than a year. It’s sad & this has now become a huge safety risk as I don’t know when it will stop working & if my children will escape & runoff without our knowledge!

Easy to install and the instructions are great. Extra hardware was provided for thicker doors. Being 72 yrs old, I installed 2 of these locks in about 1 1/2 hrs. That’s replacing existing dead bolts. Also, you get more than 2 keys! The rubber on the knobs is fantastic. Easy to operate at night as the numbers light up.

Have had to purchase this item several time because it's been broken off by others, but it works well on our outdoor gate. There was one time we had to replace it because the mechanism failed to work every time (you would put the code in, it would beep, but it wouldn't let you in). Thankfully, of the four we've had to purchase, only one was like that. My contractor installed it, so not sure about installation. Holding up well in direct sun and rain since December 2024.

This doorknob worked very well and offered the control needed to grant individuals periodic or regular access to our property. When one side of the doorknob stopped working unexpectedly at 11 months, customer service was responsive and helpful in troubleshooting the issue. Once it was clear that a reset would not resolve the issue, the company sent a replacement the same day. We were so impressed with the customer service and believe that our issue was an anomaly that we ordered a second doorknob for another gate.

These keypad door knobs are fantastic. We just replaced our existing key lock door knob with this and pretty much plug and play. The best part is the self locking feature. Also the support is amazing. I used their chat on the website on a Sunday and was smooth programming! Looking yo replace a few more locks.

Product worked well until it appeared to have a leak after 5 months. Opened the unit and one of the batteries had corroded and one of the battery contacts had completely rotted off. When I contacted them about a replacement unit, they said they would not ship to me because I live in Canada. On their product page is says: The manufacturer offers a 1-year warranty, lifetime after-sales customer service and 24/7 online technical support. Very disappointed to have spent the money on this and be told they wouldn't honour a warranty. Their solution was for me to have it shipped to a friend with a US address, just ridiculous. Stay away from this seller.

This has a lock on both sides so I don't have to worry about my ASD son leaving the house without me noticing. It has been such a relief for me and so much cheaper than the alarm system I was considering. I did have to instal it upside down as we also have an electronic deadbolt. I think you'd be ok with a traditional deadbolt. It was also self explanatory enough to be set up without the instructions. They did send them but they were accidentally destroyed.

Purchased May 2025 and loved it! Loved that it had a keypad on each side and was fairly easy to install! It would glitch once in a while and not open, just had to punch the code in a few more times eventually it would unlock. Today November 11 I opened the door and went to closed and was holding the outside knob in my hand! For the $200 I spent on it I feel it should have lasted much longer. Very disappointing in this product.

only work after 2 months, don't buy not weather proof, the electronic inside got damp and malfunction no warranty replacement, very disappointing
