It really is small as a sample and it works well. For the price it is worth buying.Easy to use.

Compact
Takes up little space, easy setup, works great. I’ve only set it up and tested, so can not justified a 5 star review.

Quality unit that works great.
Nice little unit. Compact size. Just what I needed to sit on a narrow shelf underneath the flat screen. Works just great...nice picture quality. I'm only using it for music instruction DVDs, CDs etc. in my music room so one disc at a time is fine.

Works perfectly
a great little dvd player even plays zone 2 dvds.Looks a little weird with the software but it works perfectly! No issues at all and no DVD zone restrictions that I had with certain dvds.Definitely worth it.

Maybe i got a bad one.......
I bought mine based on the positive reviews, mine lasted a week . Up until that point it worked fine, then it just stopped playing and was showing " no disc" on the display, tried 5 other dvds no luck.

Great little player for traveling!
I have had this DVD player for a year now and love it. We have a family vacation cabin, but our TV and DVD player got stolen, twice. We didn't want to keep replacing them and giving the thieves continued incentive to keep breaking into the house just to steal them (there wasn't much else of value inside), so we switched to traveling with a DVD player and small projector instead. It works great! The player connects to our projector via the HDMI cable and has no problem correctly displaying the format for our new and old DVDs. Just plug and play! It's also really easy to take out of the box and put away without struggling to fit everything back in the box because the box has enough room for all the pieces and a little wiggle room. We've found that having the portable player and projector also means we can take it all kinds of places and then watch shows wherever on a large "screen" (a white wall or sheet work fine!). I sometimes wish we could make the volume go higher, but that might be a limitation of our projector that produces the sound and not the DVD player's fault (different DVDs seem to have different default volumes when playing on this player). Definitely recommend overall!

It's OK.
I purchased this to use with a laptop and TVs. My fault, it doesn't actually claim that it works on laptops and doesn't, but be aware. No stars marked off for my stupidity.Pros: Size is great if you have little spaceUsing HDMI cord, picture is Good. Not 4K "great" so if you are particular about this, this is not for you. If you are old school and good with something that looks like the TVs show you watched in the past (think Gilligan's Island or Buffy the Vampire Slayer) without the drop outs, but still with the slightly grainy quality, it's good and accurate to the quality of the DVD. Newer DVDs are also of appropriate quality.I accidentally turned it sideways. Kept playing, no issues.Remembers where you stopped.Easy setup for HDMI.Plays discs I have with some heavy duties scrapes on them (purchased second hand). This is the ONLY DVD player that will play those discs. That alone makes it a keeper for me.Cons:Cannot find a way to adjust the picture size properly on the dvd player. It has Normal ps, Normal LB and 16:9. How about 4:3 for those really old DVDs in CRT size? The two "NORMAL" sizes don't fix the image. My non mini DVD players will fix that. Yes, I often have to adjust the size on the TV, too, but I can't make the picture size work with 2 of 4 TVs. My non mini DVD players work with all of them.Player makes a"ticking" sound as it plays. If you have sensitive hearing, it will drive you insane.Remote is "slow". You press the button and it waits a beat before anything happens. At least mine does that.Bottom line: Good enough for average dvd play if you aren't picky about perfect pictures and don't mind or can place it where the ticking sound won't bother you. Standard small DVD players which aren't that much bigger these days are better (my non mini is only 3 inches wider and two inches deeper). That is plays DVDs with scrapes that other DVD players won't means I will keep it, but if it hadn't done that I would have returned it. It's just OK, IMO.
