Perhaps I was shipped the wrong case...
Their posted dimensions are just a wee bit off... The case is 11" x 7-3/4" x 3-1/2" deep, not the 3.5 x 3.5.The pictures are accurate, not the description.They include everything you need to protect your splice. For my purpose, I'm going to use it to splice coaxial cable.

worst splice box ever
cannot enter with 1/2" conduit (too small) nor with 3/4" (too big) and it's zero flexible. What a poor design!

Used throughout Florida below grade and underwater
The seal is an overlapping seal and since it has plenty of screws to close the clam shell, there is no way for water to get inside the enclosure. There is enough hardware included to work with just about any size fiber between 12 strand and maybe up to 50 strands in terms of O.D. of the cable. The compression fit connectors are designed only for fiber optic cable to enter and exit the enclosure and NOT conduit of any type.
