Keeping these on 'Standby' For use with the remote even though they are off consumes battery life of each candle FAST. The colors are bright and vivid and look great. The flickering effect of these is far from convincing. Instead of random flickering they die down and light back up. It appears to be a warning light rather then a candle. The bottom battery compartment also keeps popping out from the bottom.
