Works but needs instruction upgrade.
The lock-in cylinders are not like the others I have purchased. Had to add some tape and put plastic in the bottom of the bed rail holes to keep the bolts in the lock-in cylinders from dropping through. That is a flaw. No instructions for any of this. I also had to use a ratchet strap in addition to this mount to keep the tire tight enough to the bed. This is probably due more to the plastic bed rather than the mount.

This looks and works as advertised, but...
The spare tire holder itself arrived on time and was as advertised. But its method of connection to the General bed worries me a bit. The tire is heavy, and it's attached to the PLASTIC rim of the dump bed only in two places. The rim of the bed moves around a LOT with the tire mounted. I worry the stress on the plastic will cause it to fail over time.So while this unit is exactly as advertised, I'm looking for a more secure way to attach my spare tire to the General. Haven't found one yet.

Great spare tire mount.
Perfect fit for my 2020 polaris ranger 570 crew midsize. Read a review stating they were worried about all the weight of the spare pulling on the plastic bed and I was initially nervous about that. The mount is adjustable up and down, so I mounted the spare with its weight on the bed. The mount holds it in place well. Just took it out for a bumpy ride to see if it comes loose and it stayed tight. Great purchase I believe.

Not Bad
this tire holder is decent. It holds by 29" tire fairly well however it does move around quite a bit. I am hoping all that stress on the bed of my ranger does not cause damage at some point. Overall it works

Pricey for what you get.
I had to modify the plates that hold the tire in place. It slid back and forth and rattled as designed because the plates don't actually clamp the rim as designed. I turned the plates around and added some rubber gasket material to help hold the tire in place. Not a complicated design and for the price it should work better without having to come up with a modification.

Keep it tight to the bed.
It's easy to install and strong, I tested it on the Hatfield and McCoy trails for a week. It proved itself!👍
