Social Work ASWB Masters Practice Test: 170 Questions to Identify Knowledge Gaps (Book + Digital Access)

I purchased this book in hopes of using it to study for the LMSW exam. I mistakenly took it for the study guide, which it is not. This is a practice test. This book can still be useful in my studying for the exam. I really like how you get this real in depth question and an explanation on which is the correct answer and why and also why the other answers were not the best answer. All in all the book will still be useful. I have not downloaded or install the app which is included with the book so I cannot comment on it at the moment.

I used this to prep for two weeks before my Masters Exam and it was excellent. The format of the questions prepares you for what you'll see, and the topics give you great explanations that guide you for what topics to be sure you know well inside and out. When I took the exam there were very few things that came up that I hadn't read about or studied thanks to the topics covered here.I really enjoyed using the app as it also helped me prepare for taking the exam electronically.I'd highly recommend this for help in preparing for the ASWB Masters Exam.

This is a good sample test book for the ASWB generalist exam. The author is actually out in the community teaching a prep course as well.I regret the insult I gave to the publisher that the app was not included. The app offers e-versions of this book and the Exam Study Guide. The code in this book unlocks the 170 Premium Diagnostic Questions included in the app. I am hopeful that when I receive the Exam Study Guide book, its code will successfully unlock the study guide content as promised.I appreciate the personal attention received from Springer and from HLT Corp (app publisher).

I can not emphasize how important it is for you to get this book if you are studying for your LMSW exam! This books helped me pass! I was super nervous about taking my exam and failing it but I committed to studying using this book and taking the practice test and I passed with an 80! I highly recommend this oppose to taking a class. I am more of a self taught studying guy and this helped a lot! Thank you!

I was scheduled to take my exam 9/2 and was surfing amazon for study material. I read the reviews of this book and decided to purchase it. Of course, I used a combination of techniques to study, but the final week I solely read and answer questions. The way Dawn rationalizes the answers is like no other. The information is valuable and rich. It teaches you to stay within THE question and answer exactly what the question is asking. I would recommend you study this Q&A a few weeks to really comprehend and digest the concept of the exam and how to answer question. I PASSED my exam!

I used this book to study for my bachelors level SW exam. It has a lot of good tips that came in helpful along with a the practice exam. I passed my exam on the first try (yay!) and this was my only study guide.

A coworker recommended this book to help me prep for the test. It was very helpful in terms of learning the testing strategies and wording behind the questions. I studied this book, took the ASWB practice test, and passed the licensing exam! Well worth getting the preparation that I needed!
