Tiny but Mighty
I've used this set several times since I've purchased it and it's perfect. It's case is small and can fit in your pocket. The one I've used the most is the smallest size but they've made quick work of removing stripped screws. They grip easily onto the screw and remove it with ease. It's a simple set that you just turn over and continue the job. If there's a newbie doing the work, instructions are labeled on the container it comes in. Definitely recommend for light duty work and if you are interested in purchasing a set, try something like this before getting a more expensive set. Definitely worth the price and proven performance.

Could be a Great Stocking Stuffer
I picked up this Damaged Screw Extractor Set as a gift for a friend whoโs always working on projects, and honestly, itโs become one of those unexpectedly useful tools in my own workshop too. The set includes a good range of sizes, so whether Iโm pulling out a tiny screw thatโs stripped or a larger one thatโs been rounded off, thereโs a bit here that works. Right out of the box, the bits feel solid and well made. Theyโre not the flimsy sort you get in cheap knockoff kits. Iโve already used them on a couple of tough jobs โ a stripped screw head on an old cabinet hinge and a rusted screw in a deck board โ and both came out cleanly with minimal effort. What I like most is that the extractors grip without shredding the metal, so I donโt have to go chasing broken bits inside the wood or metal. One thing to call out is that you will need a decent drill and a bit of patience to use them effectively. They arenโt magic, but theyโre way better than trying to wrestle a rounded screw with pliers. For anyone who does any DIY, woodworking, or mechanical work, this set is exactly the kind of tool you donโt realize you need until you absolutely do. In short, it was a great gift idea and Iโd buy it again for myself. Solid performance, good range of sizes, and a real help when getting out damaged screws.

Get it!
Wife stripped screws in some old furniture. Did my research and almost purchased an over-the-top set of extractors and then found this set. I thought โWhy not? If it doesnโt work I only wasted a few bucksโ. These extractors worked like a breeze. No damage to the tips and pulled out 5 stripped screws and look like brand new. Ignore all of the bad reviews and just get this - especially for older screws like the ones I pulled out.

Worked?
This worked on a vent that was in place since 1940 but I had to use a utility knife to cut all the pain off it first. It destroyed the bit which was the smallest and the one I am likely to use the most. So thatโs a bit annoying.

The "I Should Have Listened to My Father" Recovery Kit
I bought this set because I am a "stripper"โnot the fun kind, but the kind who encounters a Phillips-head screw and thinks, "I bet I can turn this into a smooth, featureless metal crater if I just push harder." This kit is essentially a "Do-Over" button for the mechanically overconfident. 1. The Stages of Grief Using this tool is a journey through the five stages of home improvement grief: Denial: "I don't need an extractor. Iโll just use a rubber band and some prayer." Anger: (This involves a lot of words that would make a sailor blush while the drill bit spins uselessly). Bargaining: "Please, just catch one thread. Iโll never use a cheap power drill again." Depression: Sitting on the floor staring at a rounded-out bolt head that is now part of the house's permanent structure. Acceptance: Opening this kit and admitting I am not the master of my own domain. 2. The "Reverse" Psychology The most confusing part of this tool is that it works in reverse. You have to set your drill to "Counter-Clockwise," which goes against every instinct Iโve developed since I was five years old. It feels like trying to write with your non-dominant hand while looking through a mirror. But when that "Burnishing" end starts digging a hole into the soul of the screw, you feel a surge of dark, industrial power. 3. The "Death Grip" Moment There is a specific, magical second where the "Extractor" side finally bites into the metal. Itโs better than any cinematic plot twist. You feel a tug, the drill slows down, and suddenly, the screw that has been ruining your life for the last two hours begins to back out like a defeated villain in a Western. Iโm not saying I cheered, but Iโm not saying I didn't do a victory lap around the kitchen island. 4. The "Gift for Men" Branding The box markets this as a "Gift for Men," which is a polite way of saying: "We know youโre going to mess up that IKEA shelf, and we want you to be able to fix it before your partner sees it." Itโs the ultimate "Secret-Keeping Tool." Itโs the hardware equivalent of an apology. The Verdict Pros: It actually works on screws that have been rounded out until they look like polished chrome. The carrying case is small enough to hide in your pocket so nobody has to know you failed the first time. Makes you look like a "pro" who knows how to handle a "technical malfunction" (instead of a guy who just used the wrong bit). Cons: Requires a steady hand and a level of patience that I usually lack by the time I reach for it. You will realize that you have wasted years of your life trying to use pliers on things that never stood a chance. Does not come with the replacement screws youโve inevitably destroyed.

Fantastic, simple product for the price and peace of mind
Had just installed a ceiling fan and needs to remove a part and, upon doing so, stripped a screw. Tried everything and could not get it out. Purchased the screw extractor and had it out in under a minute. Fantastic product and worth the price to know I can handle any similar situation in the future.

Does not work on motorcycle screws
While one of the ends of the screw extractor was great at making a pilot hold in the stripped screw, the opposite end did not performed as advertised. The side that extracts the screw did not extract the screw. It kept spinning and did not remove the stripped screw.

For $10, not bad.
I picked up this screw extractor set on a whim, and Iโm glad I did. For under $10, itโs a surprisingly handy addition to my toolbox. The kit includes six extractors made from HSS 4341 steel with a hardness rating of 63โ65 HRC, which gives it solid durability. Iโve used it on a couple of stripped screws and rusty bolts, and it performed wellโespecially with a standard drill. ๐ Pros: Works with the screws I needed help with. Easy to use. Compact and giftable packaging Great value for the price ๐ Cons: Doesnโt always grip deeply rusted screws on the first try, and needing to drill deeper into the screw than I imagined. Overall, itโs a practical tool that solves a frustrating problem. Itโs not industrial-grade, but for DIY jobs and occasional use, itโs a smart buy. Bonus points for being a fun stocking stuffer or gift for the fix-it guy (or gal) in your life

WORKS!!
My drill is 20$ and it still worked!! I had 2 screws: The first one had a stripped head and needed a bigger size to get out (always start small and go higher as needed!!!) The second one was headless and deep and needed a small size to get out This extractor resolved both issues. 10/10 LOVE this extractor.

Drill bits
Kit was a lot smaller than I expected but given that they are drill bits, the size can be understood. Husband was very happy with item but hasn't used them yet so can't speak of the quality.

Good set
Good set, they do the job. Always go slow with the drilling and they will do the job as intended.
