Cat Eye Set 48 - I haven't used them yet, I am building up my collection of methacrylate free polishes. I love the colors though and can't wait to play with them. This set is confirmed by the company to be free of isobornyl methacrylate as well as HEMA, HPMA, and TPO. TLDR; Some of the Aimeili polishes are free of methacrylates, some are not. If you have allergies, make sure you only order polishes with free returns and check the ingredients as soon as you get them. I have allergic reactions to Sensationail, ibd, and Gelish polishes, so I’ve been looking for a polish that avoids all methacrylates and TPO. I am writing one review for all the polishes I’ve ordered from Aimeili in my quest for allergy free gel nails. My experience with the polishes: The quality of Aimeili polishes is great, easy to do thin coats but doesn’t flood the cuticles. Customer service answers questions about ingredients quickly. I was confused by the different labels on the actual bottles, thinking the black bar indicated allergen free, but there seems to be no correlation between label and ingredients. Not all of their polishes are methacrylate free. In fact ALL of their basecoats have isobornyl methacrylate. I’m very grateful that I can wear some of their polishes, though. Even though I can’t wear their basecoats I’m wearing 2 coats of a color polish (036) with their no-wipe top coat, without any allergic reaction. It starts chipping after 48 hours, of course, but I am looking into basecoats from Sundara Nails. I’m also going to try Orly Bonder as a base under Aimeili gels. Will update if those work. I emailed Aimeili and they confirmed that the Cat Eye polish (set 48) and Galaxy Paranoid polish (set 18) have the Color Coat ingredients and DO NOT contain isobornyl methacrylate. I’m going to guess that the same is true of set 21, and I’m keeping all 3. Box was completely torn open. Missing black polish that was described, and yes I double checked I clicked the option that had the black polish with it. The color is horrid, very sheer and can hardly see it, even with the dark colors you have to do like 3 coats to even be able to see the color. Worst gel polish I’ve ever used!!

I use these for gel nails at home on top of fake nails that I glue on. This kit does NOT include a base coat or a top coat so I will mention I used those in conjunction with this kit and would recommend already having your own. After applying a base coat I applied 2 coats of this gel polish which is pretty and shimmery - the cat eye look is super fun and it was my first time doing it (luckily there is directions to do so) and it turned out okay but I know will get better with more practice. My only real complaint is that the color stickers on top to differentiate them almost all look the same since the bottles themselves are all pink which make it difficult to tell the colors apart. Last note: make sure you have a curing lamp in order to use these as you do for all gel nails!

Great cat-eyes; top swatches are done under a white base and bottom ones are with a black base; all of them have half matte and half regular top coats. I've a read a few reviews that stated that the purple is more of a brown colour but the set I got definitely has a purple one. Love them.

They work great and they're really pretty! My only complaint is that most of the colors in this set do look very alike, and they all have a silver shift, so in the end they all tend to look fairly silver-y. I was hoping to have a stronger gold or pink shift to some of them. They were a great deal for the price though, they work nicely and I'm happy with them. I also really like that they're free from some of the worst allergens.
