This is a very attractive and sturdy slider, with many choices in dimensions. I liked the one I ordered for our mixer well enough that I ordered another for our toaster oven. It works on rollers, which is an advantage for some situations as it slides on a given path. It can be diverted, i.e. turn corners, but the normal movement is in one direction. Even as it is smooth to use, it doesn't tend to shift about when using the appliance.

Really love my Canadian made sliding tray. Far superior to the cheap plastic ones that run off the track etc!! Love the little wheels on bottom! Only reason for 4* is I would have preferred a horizontal slider.

This is an amazing tool for your heavy kitchen counter appliances. I am using mine for a large, counter top water filtering station. When the water tank if filled with 170ml of water, it is so heavy you cannot move it, at all. Once I put it on the solid wood, sliding tray, I can move it with 1 single finger. Amazing! It has metal wheels on the bottom that handle the weight and glide so easily and smoothly, I was shocked. The wood is sealed and so far, 100% waterproof. I have tried the silicone mats intended for appliances to slide across the counter. They are “ok”, but not great. Compared to this wooden tray with wheels, I would rate them: …………..
