Better than all the other clear coats I've tried
MOT coming up and I wasn't sure the headlights would pass. Wet sanded them for 25 mins with P3000 and then again with P7000. Applied 2 thin coats 30 mins apart of this E-TECH Restored Headlight Clear Coat. Important to know that whilst wet the clear coat can look cloudy in patches, but it clears as it dries. Following morning sanded again with P7000 for 5 mins and applied 2 more thin coats. Headlights came up like new. This product is first class and easy to use and at £10.99 saved me £520 on new headlights. A 200ml can is more than enough for 2 large headlights. Top product!

Works really well
This product is a little difficult to use (as all optical clear coat sprays seem to be), and so it's worth perhaps practicing with handling the spray before trying on an actual headlight. You need to get just enough to fully wet the surface of the headlight, spray steadily and consistently to try to avoid introducing air bubbles to the surface, but not spray so long that the clear coat starts to run. It takes a bit of a knack, but if you get it right, it looks near flawless.

It went cloudy & flaked off
I did all the required preparation with various grades of abrasive paper & used the wipe in the sachet to clean off the surface of the plastic 'glass' I applied a couple of coats & it looked good. A couple of days later I fitted the headlamp. Some days later I realised the clear coating had gone hazy. I thought like most paint clearcoats you can polish it to restore clarity, but instead, it just flaked off it had not taken to the surface at all. Not happy with that! Very poor.

Preparation is the key to good results.
Don't assume this product will suddenly and magically restore clouded and dull car headlights. You need to do some work removing the scratches and film build-up on what was the clear plastic lens covering the headlight.Ultra violet rays from the sun, weather and minor stone chips create a deterioration of the manufacturer's UV protective coating, which needs to be removed. You will need to do some wet and dry sanding using variable grit densities followed by polishing with a mildly abrasive liquid compound, by hand or with an electric polisher, will restore the headlights to their original quality and brightness. An hour's work on each headlight will bring those headlights to a gleaming finish. Then, to complete the process and protect the lens from future deterioration, the E-Tech clear coating is applied using the spray can. Follow the instructions that come with the can to get an even finish. This product, with two passes over an hour or so and left for 24 hours to dry hard, is perfect and the results I got were excellent. Put the work in first and you will not be disappointed.

Rattle can paint/clear is ALWAYS bad.
Avoid. I wet sanded perfectly, 500, 600, 800, 1000, IPA wash, tack cloth, shake vigorously for 2 mins, apply to light in 22 Celsius garage 2 coats and now I have a hazy light that scatters my beam and looks awful. All of the social media videos of clear coat headlight restoration are experienced pros treating headlights that barely even need it. Wish I didn't do this, ruined my headlights.

The best so far.
Tried many products but this is the best so far. I've first prepped headlights up to 5000 grit sandpaper then, headlights rubbing compound, after that few wipes of IPA. I've put two layers of this product and it's been 2 weeks so far, many rainy days and a wash, and still looking like new. Obviously I would expect this to last a year as minimum so we will see. Definitely would recommend.
